POSTS STORIES REELS

Black LGBTQ+ history belongs in Black history.

This Black History Month, we honour Audre Lorde and Marsha P. Johnson—their voices, their activism and the communities they stood beside. Their stories deserve to be remembered and shared. 🖤🏳️‍🌈

Coming out is personal.
There is no deadline, no perfect moment, and no one else who gets to decide it for you.

This Coming Out Day, we want to remind every queer person that your story is yours. Whether you are out to everyone, out to a few, still figuring things out, or choosing privacy for your safety you are valid. Always. 🌈

We missed Amsterdam pride and instead went to Prague pride this year. It’s actually something you should check out

These photos mean more to us than just a Pride walk.

They’re a reminder that we get to stand next to each other openly, proudly, and without hiding. That may look small to some people, but for us, it means everything.

And for every Ugandan still trying to find the courage to be fully themselves — this is for you too.
You are not alone, and there is nothing wrong with who you are. 🌈

I never imagined that one day I’d be able to share my family this openly.

There was a time I thought I’d have to hide this part of my life forever.

Now I get to call this beautiful woman my wife, together we’re raising our son, and I get to share our journey with all of you.

Thank you for being here. There’s so much more to come.

These aren’t just engagement photos. They’re proof that love deserves to be celebrated. ❤️🏳️‍🌈

The greatest privilege isn’t getting engaged. It’s getting to celebrate our love openly.

What a privilege it is to be the person he looks for when he needs comfort, the arms he falls asleep in, and the face that makes him smile. I’ll never take this love for granted. 🤍

For many of us, there was never a “coming out.” There was only silence, fear, and the hope of one day living somewhere we could finally be ourselves. This is part of my story. ❤️🏳️‍🌈

Every day, I find another reason to fall in love with you.
What we’ve built together is more than a relationship, it’s a home, a friendship, a family, and a love that has carried us through every season of life.

Through every challenge, every laugh, every tear, every adventure, and every dream, I’ve never stopped choosing you.

3,827.25 days of loving you, believing in us, and thanking life for bringing you into mine.
If I had the chance to do it all over again, I’d still find you.

I’d still choose you.
Every single time.
Here’s to all the days behind us and to the thousands still waiting for us. ❤️ @sumayyamusic

There was a time when loving her meant looking over our shoulders.

Where holding hands could put us at risk.
Where saying “this is my partner” wasn’t just difficult, it could be dangerous.
Where dreams of building a family together felt impossible.

Today, we get to share our love openly. We get to raise our son surrounded by people who see us as a family. That is a privilege we never take for granted.

But our story isn’t everyone’s story.

There are still countless LGBTQ+ people in Uganda and around the world who cannot safely love, exist, or dream the way we do. Many are still forced to choose between being themselves and being safe.

This post isn’t about asking for special treatment.
It’s about reminding people that something as ordinary as holding the hand of the person you love is still a freedom many don’t have.

We share our lives because visibility matters. Because somewhere, someone is still waiting for the day they can love without fear.

Until then, we’ll keep loving loudly, for ourselves, and for those who still can’t. 🌈🏳️‍🌈🤍
