GLOW Beauty & Academy CEO ✨

Let me introduce you to Me ✨ the owner of @glowbeauty.academy

Sat in a dark place back in 2016, I knew I needed more than the corporate world I was stuck in. Makeup became my escape—I spent every spare penny and hour perfecting my craft, working 7 days a week alongside my “very important” corporate job. Then lockdown hit, and I found my true passion: nail health. BIAB changed the game for me, leading me to train with @the_gelbottle_inc and fall in love with both nails and teaching.

I’m a huge advocate for BIAB and hard gel, believing in their power to transform natural nails while keeping them strong and healthy. If you’re looking for durability without damage—this is the way!

Now, with 9 years in the beauty industry and 5 years dedicated to nails, I can truly say I’ve found my purpose. I value every single client who has supported me—they’re not just customers, they’re family. Without them, this journey wouldn’t have been possible.

I’m constantly learning and evolving, always finding ways to help my clients achieve healthy, strong, beautiful nails at reasonable prices. I don’t just do nails—I educate my clients on how to take care of them, so they can glow long after their appointment. Most importantly, I want every person who walks through my doors to feel comfortable, welcomed, and at home.

I didn’t want a salon that felt cold or intimidating—I wanted a space where women could feel like their best friend was doing their nails. Pyjamas? Night-out glam? However you show up, you’re welcome here. Now, I run Bedford’s biggest salon, home to 13 other businesses, watching not just my dreams but others’ GLOW & Grow.

Join me on my journey—growing my business, learning new techniques, and continuing to create a space where beauty feels effortless, fun, and empowering. ✨

If you’ve been looking for a sign to chase your dreams—THIS IS IT.

Yesterday I got to watch one of my beautiful client Laurie get married and it really made me think about how special this job actually is 🥹🤍

You start off as nail tech and client, and somewhere along the way you become so much more than that.

You sit across from each other appointment after appointment, year after year, talking through literally EVERYTHING. The highs, the lows, relationships, break ups, new beginnings, engagements, babies, careers, family… all of it. And before you know it, you’ve built a bond that feels completely unbreakable.

Then you get moments like yesterday, where you’re not just hearing about the next chapter at the nail desk… you’re actually there watching it happen. 🥹

I feel so unbelievably lucky that so many of you have allowed me to be a little part of your lives and trusted me enough to take me along for the journey.

It was never just about doing nails. 🤍

Watching you become a wife Laurie @laurkidd yesterday was so special. Here’s to all the chapters still to come 🥂✨

Congratulations and thank you for making us part of your amazing journey, I feel so blessed. 🩵 by @sheena.glow
