Nest | Apartment Interior | Ahmedabad

Nest is a sample apartment for @kavishagroup The Portrait project, designed for young couples and nuclear families.

The apartment uses soft whites, muted greens and light-toned wood to create a warm and relaxed home. Green is used through the interiors to bring a subtle sense of nature indoors, while wood adds warmth and texture. Rounded furniture and small brass details bring softness to the clean, contemporary spaces.
Concealed doors and simple lines help the rooms flow into one another, keeping the apartment open and uncluttered. The overall approach is restrained, with each element given enough space to stand on its own. The result is a home that feels contemporary, comfortable and easy to live in.

Guldasta | Residence | Ahmedabad

Guldasta is a 3,600 sq. ft. apartment in Ahmedabad designed for a senior couple transitioning from an expansive ancestral bungalow to apartment living. Rather than replicating their previous home, the project reimagines its essence through memory, adaptability, and the quiet negotiations between past and present.

The living and dining spaces are deliberately kept open, allowing natural light to penetrate deep into the apartment. Sliding teak partitions allow the home to expand and contract as needed, dissolving boundaries between spaces and creating an architecture where care, flexibility, and everyday rituals shape the experience of living.

Rather than replicating their previous home, the project reimagines its essence through memory, adaptability, and the quiet negotiations between past and present.

The living room is designed as a calm, understated space where architecture recedes and
lived experience takes precedence. Bookshelves run along the periphery, functioning simultaneously as storage, lighting elements, and showcases for curiosities accumulated over a lifetime—transforming the home into a living archive where every object becomes a narrative anchor.

Sappadu | Café Interiors | Ahmedabad

Set within a repurposed row house, Sappadu reinterprets a South Indian café through a contemporary lens.

While the space remains intentionally understated, carefully placed moments add depth and character. A hand-painted ceiling of tropical foliage introduces colour and craft, bringing the lush landscapes of South India overhead, while the muted palette and clean detailing ensure the gesture feels immersive rather than overwhelming. Rather than recreating a nostalgic image of South India, the café captures its essence through abstraction, creating a contemporary space that feels both rooted and refreshingly modern.

Sappadu | Café Interiors | Ahmedabad

Set within a repurposed row house, Sappadu reinterprets a South Indian café through a contemporary lens.

The courtyard becomes the project’s welcoming threshold, with seating nestled amidst lush planting beneath textile buntings. A striking red metal staircase - the only red element in the project, cuts through the landscape, transforming a simple circulation element into the defining visual anchor of the café.
