Four years ago, lacrosse began this manuscript with a chapter titled “Make an Impact” about advice my High School Lacrosse Coach gave me and sparked my entire post HS Journey in everything I do. Last year, I picked the manuscript back up in June 2025 to process the end of my collegiate Lacrosse career at UH with the #OneMore chapter, a chapter that defines a lot of who I am as a person. This year, when I got serious about finishing the book, Lacrosse started it again with the “A teammate eight years in the making” which showed me how sometimes people we look up to may walk along side us one day. The impact will continue beyond the book. All of my author profits will be divided between the One Love Foundation and Shootout for Soldiers two organizations that became meaningful parts of my faith and lacrosse journeys. Just a guy who overcame 6 surgeries and 8 injuries to play lacrosse at his dream school… learned to walk at age 12 and somehow is helping create a path toward the Olympics for the family he hopes to have someday and the next kid who looks like him. I’m not sure when that #OneMore lacrosse call will happen, but I’m retiring from chasing a national team and now focusing on building the next generation. Can’t wait for y’all to see it. I surrender. Along with the business of life recently, there is one thing that meant a lot to me: In honor of my step-brother who passed away in 2018, I am so proud to share the opening of the Azzam Sports Academy in Pakistan (where he was born). 🇵🇰 Worked on by my grandfather, father, step mother, uncle, and myself, plus my initial gift of $333 in addition to a plethora of donations, we all saw how sports changed my life, and hope it can do the same for children in underdeveloped communities. They all deserve access and the opportunity to dream big, such as I did being part of UH & Philippines Lacrosse. 🐾 🇵🇭 Honoring Azzam was part of the healing process for me. Even though it happened many years ago, there are reminders in my life that each day is a gift, and sports are a present to help one live. Beyond my book, getting on the Price is Right, starting the Pakistan Lacrosse US Team, this is what I’m most proud of. In August when I moved back to Cypress on my own, I made a promise to myself that post pursuing International Lacrosse, I would focus on “Building a Life, Not a Resume.” And I got really specific… By writing it on a whiteboard, and not touching a lacrosse stick since May for once lol. I looked at it every day to make sure I can follow through based on the bible verse Philippians 4:4. Heres how I did it! Reconnected with old friends and released my book :) Invest in new friendships and community outside of lacrosse that fulfill me. SURVIVOR WATCH PARTY 🔥🏝️ My Work Life Balance before Survivor came back was ALL ABOUT DREW from BIG BROTHER! SOOOO SAD he lost! 😭😭😭 I Started playing Cardfight Vanguard seriously again, and competed at many tournaments Pickleball is my new active hobby! I play 1-2 times a week with AV at Pickleball Social!! Got to see two friends get married in Michigan! Congrats to the ROWES! #Rowemance Celebrated my book being a #1 Best Seller with my Cardfight Vanguard community Sat at table 8 and crashed a wedding next to the Rowe’s for a glowstick 🌟🪄 Truly with a lot of intentional effort and goal setting, I’m grateful. RELEASED HIS BOOK WORLDWIDE! 🥳📖 Not everyone gets the chance to prove they meant what they said. Today, I did. I followed through. The result is Be Still: How Ordinary Moments Led to Surrender: 32 stories about how God spoke to me through the people I encountered and the passions I pursued. Seven years ago, while reading All the Pretty Horses and Wuthering Heights in Mrs. Ortega’s class, I felt inspired to someday write a book of my own. I told myself I would donate my profits to charity and release it worldwide so my family in Pakistan and the Philippines could read it too. After 4 years of writing, Today, that promise is real. BE STILL CHARITY ANNOUNCEMENT! ❤️🥍 I wrote this book to share the story of my miracle. Now, I want it to help create someone else’s. Along with Be Still becoming available worldwide, I’m proud to announce that ALL of my author profits from Be Still: How Ordinary Moments Led to Surrender will be divided between @join1love and @shootoutforsoldiers This is my independent commitment and my choice. Neither organization endorses, sponsors, or is officially affiliated with Be Still. At the center of this book is one question: “Who is Jesus Christ to Sean Sheikh?” My answer ultimately came down to one word: service. Christ taught me that faith is not merely something I profess, it is something I live by loving others, serving them, and using my story for something greater than myself. The One Love Foundation has shaped how I understand relationships and challenged me to become a better friend, partner, and person. Since 2022, I’ve carried the message of 1❤️ and its lessons throughout my life. I proudly handmade and wore the One Love logo on my lacrosse helmet as a reminder that Yeardley Love’s story is seen, remembered, and continuing to make a difference. Beyond my love of Christ, the center of this book is relationships and how God used people in my life to wake me up spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. People are in Heaven so I believe we should invest in people who regardless of who they are, I believe deserve to be loved/seen, which is what called me to do this. Shootout for Soldiers has shown me how the sport I love can become an instrument of service. Through Shootout for Soldiers Houston, we brought the University of Houston–Rice lacrosse rivalry to life through the Bayou Bucket, a game that gave both programs the opportunity to compete for something greater than themselves while supporting our nation’s veterans. As someone from a Gold Star family, that mission is deeply personal to me. One of the stories highlighted in my book also began at the University of Houston in a class taught by Steve Wilbur, an Army veteran who became my favorite professor at UH! WROTE A BOOK! 📖✝️ Since 2022, I’ve grown to ask the question: What would my future kids think if their dad didn’t just tell them he intentionally pursued Christ, but showed them how he tried to live it? Not just the victories, but my habits from childhood, imperfections, relationships, setbacks, moments where I was right/wrong, accountability, and the ordinary encounters that revealed extraordinary things within me. I realized I didn’t want to leave my future family with just lessons, but with 32 stories. So after 4 years of writing this book and 3 attempts, I present… BE STILL: How Ordinary Moments led to Surrender ✝️ This book may have my name on the cover, but countless people and conversations from have left fingerprints on these pages. IS NATIONALLY FAMOUS 💲✅ Last December I flew to LA by myself and randomly decided to audition ONE TIME for ONE episode of @therealpriceisright 🔥 After seeing the show sporadically since I was a kid and then saying “I’d love to do that one day,” I somehow went from watching 3 episodes on the airplane, auditioning, and waiting for hours… to hearing: “SEAN SHEIKH COME ON DOWN!!!” Not only did I get called down, I walked away with prize money from Contestant’s Row 😂 Huge thank you to @cbstv the casting producers for the opportunity. And special shoutout to my former Philippines Lacrosse teammate @benpinero, who got me a Cameo from one of my favorite Survivor players, @sophibalerdi, encouraging me to keep taking chances on myself and trust where life could lead. That message genuinely meant a lot during this season of my life. Ironically, while I didn’t win a car on TV… the prize money helped me gain some financial freedom toward getting my brand new 2026 Subaru Crosstrek in April, and some things to come :) 🚙 🔥🏝️ #OneMore taken in Price Is Right by @sheikh_era6

my “why” of Team Pakistan is the phrase I say all the time: “take the chance to lose because you deserve to win.” It’s not easy starting a national team. When I made the decision to join Pakistan Lacrosse, I never imagined I’d start/lead the team’s US debut, and we did it!! There’s been so much excitement, pressure, nervousness, pride, and stress behind the scenes that most people never saw. People call me fearless for doing this, but if you talked to me the whole week, behind the smile I was nervous. Truthfully, this tournament hurt. Across 4 years, Im now a combined 0-20 in games as an international lacrosse player… But standing on that field representing something bigger than myself reminded me why I came here in the first place. Share stories, connect with a part of my heritage, play the game, meet the most elite people and teammates, and the life lesson to find more presence/love in my life. This week reminded me that life can’t only be about performance. Sometimes the best moments come from the people, conversations, support, memories you never expected to find along the way, and how I can be better for you through it. Thanks for saying yes.
