Thank you, along with the “Be the Change” organization, for this incredible honor of recognizing me as one of this year’s Living Legends. I am truly humbled, grateful, and deeply honored.

The best Mother’s Day weekend ever!

My son Joshua, who was born on Mother’s Day, graduated from law school today. With tears of joy in our eyes, my husband and I are overjoyed to witness his accomplishments and the amazing young man he continues to become.

My mother was able to watch the graduation online, and to make the program come full circle, the commencement speaker shared the same last name as my late mother-in-love, bringing an extra smile to our faces and reminding us that love, legacy, and family connections continue to live on in beautiful ways.

As a three-time moot trial winner, featured on the cover of the university magazine, and highlighted in multiple articles throughout his journey, Josh has continued to excel while remaining humble and determined. His motto for success has always been: “Say yes to everything.”
