If I could run it again, I would love slower.

I married at 23. By 29, I had three children and a life full of responsibilities—all while I was still becoming the woman I would eventually know myself to be.

I wouldn’t change the children or the love that came from that chapter of my life. But if I could give my younger self advice, I would tell her there is no need to hurry.

Give yourself time to become you before becoming someone’s wife.

Learn yourself. Build your confidence. Chase some dreams. Experience life. And when it comes to choosing a partner, understand that loving someone and choosing someone to build a life with are not always the same decision.

Some things are worth taking your time with.

Love deeply. Choose wisely. Love slower.

If I could run it again, I would do some things sooner.

Ask the questions sooner.
Ask for help sooner.
Ask for direction sooner.

Take the opportunity.
Explore the career.
Take the trip.
Get to know the person who caught my attention.

I eventually learned how to find my way. But sometimes the lesson isn’t about what to do.

Sometimes we already know.

We just need the courage to do it sooner.

There will always be reasons to wait until we feel more ready, more certain, more prepared.

But sometimes the life we want is waiting on the other side of one decision:

Ask. Go. Try.

This one is about giving everything you have to the moment you’re in.

If I could have that baton in my hand one more time, I’d run with everything in me—not because I didn’t before, but because life has taught me just how valuable every opportunity is.

We don’t always know which race, opportunity, or moment will be our last chance to experience it.

So when the baton is in your hand—run your race. Give it everything you have. Be present. Be fearless.

Leave nothing for “next time.”

I’ve been thinking about the moments in life I would approach differently if I could run them again. Not because I regret my life, but because experience teaches us things we couldn’t always see when we were living them.

For me, one of those things is basketball. I had talent, but I didn’t understand how far discipline and training could have taken me.

87 years of life, love, family and legacy. ❤️

My dad turned 87 on August 4, and yesterday we spent the day doing something so simple, but so special—just being together. ❤️

The kids swam, played, laughed, ate, and pretty much took over the house 😂 while my dad got to sit back and enjoy all the little ones running around him. Watching him with my grandchildren and my great-nephew was everything. 🥹

There’s something so special about seeing generations of family together—watching the babies make memories with the man who helped build the foundation of our family.

87 years young and still right in the middle of it all! ❤️

Happy Birthday, Daddy! I’m grateful for every year, every memory, and days like this that remind me what really matters.
