DevotionStory behind this photo:Couple of days ago, went for bird watching, while travelling early in the morning saw long stream of procession by villagers, both men and women, accompanied by vehicle carrying provisions , walking towards Pandharpur Vitthal Temple singing bhajans. They walk about 21 days, to reach before auspicious day of ashada ekadashi. Enroute they camp at villages where the villagers attend to their needs. Thousands of villagers go for this pilgrimage and all routes to Pandharpur are generally clogged by this long stream of procession.This practice is in vogue for more than 4 centuries.Let me know how is the photographs and which one is upto your liking...#indiatraveldiaries #raw_all_india #indianframes #indian_photography_hub #culture by @shekarsimages

The lady carrying clay potsBackground: Took this photo during a photography walk graphs walk in Khumbarwada of Dharavi, Mumbai few months ago.While walking through the narrow and dark alleys of the biggest slum area in Mumbai came across this scene where a lady was carrying clay pots in to her house.Why 6 Photos in the carousel:The subject was the lady and the pots , thought the eye should go to them and not the distractions around her, so had to crop to get to itIdeally I should have framed well while clicking, but these are not poses , activity goes on, passer by keep obstructing, so has to click within a fraction of seconds in whatever light available in those dark alleys, I though capture the moment then wonder what to do with it😜Then why BNW and Colour?
