I wanted to get Sydney a jacket for the winter, and voila, our matching hoodies came in today. He didn't like at first, but then we went out for a walk and he was as energetic and happy as I've seen him in a while. Walked further than we have been recently, had to turn around because I forgot gloves... What a handsome pup. by @shekcain

Update on my leg... Yesterday was a hard day for me, I needed the evening to process. I had x-rays done and was hoping to be released to full weight bearing on my leg, but alas the bone isn't healed enough yet and I can only partial weight bear at 25% moving towards full weight over the next 4-6weeks. This felt like a failure at first, it was only supposed to be 12 weeks. This is my first major injury like this and this was a gut punch. But just another chance to practice patience, and keep on that healing train. One day at a time..... by @shekcain

I'm feeling really good today with my recovery from my ski accident in early February. 10 weeks now since the break and surgery that was needed to put me back together. Multiple bone breaks and the meniscus pull were no joke. I got to 150° of bend at PT yesterday! Still a long way left on this journey, but taking a moment today to be grateful for where I'm at. Battled circulation issues, the pain of healing, the lack of sleep and all sorts of ups and downs mentally about what I did and the long path of recovery needed. Only 2 weeks left before I can start weight bearing again on the leg and begin relearning how to walk. 3 months on one leg has been no joke, but wanted to thank everyone that has been here for me in all capacities! I wouldn't have gotten through it without you. Fair warning a few of the pics here are a bit gross. I left off the bloody leg photos... 😜 taken in Silverthorne, Colorado by @shekcain
