Today, Pastor took us into a new series

"Family Dynamics"

God is the originator of marriage and as the originator it also means He is also the source of the wisdom that governs marriage. If we are going to choose right and build a Godly family, then we must build according to precepts from God.

Even as believers, sometimes we can experience downtimes, loss of momentum, zeal or vision.

Pastor Faithful's (@faithful_dike) charge today reminds us of a solution we have in God: RETREATS.

Drawing from the life of Christ Jesus, we are reminded RETREATS are one of the antidotes we have as believers to remain on fire and recover from burnout.

Dear brother and sister in Christ, is it possible that what you really need right now might just be to go on that retreat and seek the face of God - your father. This might just be your sign.

GOD WANTS TO BE SEEN, KNOWN, HEARD, AND TOUCHED, and for every new phase God brings you into, a new experience of Him is required. We are learning that true intimacy with God goes beyond performance; it requires a heart that is consistently hungry for Him.

Swipe for the full sermon notes on this new teaching series "BACK TO THE BASICS PT 1: That I may know him" to discover practical steps to grow in your experiential knowledge of God.

Back to the Basics: That I may know Him🔥

God wants to be heard.
He wants to be seen.
He wants to be touched.
He wants to be known.

Philippians 3:7-17

We cannot become veterans in knowing God. The more we know, the more we want to know.
