POSTS STORIES REELS

Our backgrounds, cultures, relationships and life experiences shape how we navigate the world differently.

Let’s make room for those differences, listen without assumptions, and remember that no single story speaks for everyone.

POV: You said community, and we said make it SHÉLA! 💃🏽

Good vibes, good people, and a space where you can show up and be yourself. And yes, there WILL be dancing.

Because community isn’t just about being in the same space. It’s about belonging, connecting, and having a little fun along the way!

Welcome to the SHÉLA kind of community. 🫶🏽

It’s International Lesbian Day.

Today, we’re celebrating lesbian women in all our diversity — our stories, identities, friendships, love, resilience, and the communities we create.

So we’re asking three simple questions:

🌈 What does being a lesbian mean to you?
💭 What do you wish you had known when you first realised you were a lesbian?
🤍 What do you love most about the lesbian community?

There’s no right or wrong answer. Just your story, in your words.

Share yours in the comments — or send this to a lesbian woman who deserves to feel seen today.

MHappy International Lesbian Day. 💜

This is what SHÉLA Circle is all about: showing up as yourself, feeling welcomed, sharing stories, and connecting with people who just get it.

Thank you to every SHÉfriend who continues to make our Circle special. We’re so glad you’re here! 🫶🏾

Our next Circle is coming up on 24 October. We can’t wait to connect, laugh, share and simply BE together again.

There are so many stereotypes about what bisexual women are supposed to look like.

If you’re dating a man, people assume you’re straight.

If you’re dating a woman, suddenly you’re a lesbian.

If you’ve only dated men, people question whether you’re ‘really’ bi.

If you’ve only dated women, they question that too.

But bisexuality isn’t a look.

It’s not your clothes, your haircut, your relationship status, or your dating history.

You don’t have to perform bisexuality for anyone to believe you.

You know your sexuality. That’s enough. 💜
