big things happening around here this summer like taking cat naps in my hammock, finding excuses to eat sprinkles and complaining about how I can’t ever find anything to wear in this weather that doesn’t just immediately remind me why I have to take lexapro and make myself count to ten. check back in when fall menus are available at your local coffee shop. in the meantime, this is where ya can find me 🧑🏻‍🩰🔫😎 by @shelbertay

meet froggy (his government name is lieutenant cake the cat tho). he climbed up on my shoulder within the first two min of meeting and hasn’t really gotten down since. he hitched a ride in a coworkers engine last week and decided to hire me as his full time jungle gym. the pay is honestly kinda crap because he only can pay me in squeaky toys and cuddles but that’s ok because he’s really really cute. and he meows like a dolphin so that’s super fun. 🐸🥰🎂 by @shelbertay

I’ve always said it just doesn’t get better than an Ernie. I’ve had many soul pets throughout my life but there’s just something extra special about this guy that I’ll never be able to fully put into words. He has often been able to offer me the sort of presence you don’t come across much in your life. He’s also just really cool. He has ridden armadillos, fought copperheads, climbed trees, caught many a mouser, bullied a pitbull into submission, softened the heart of everyone he meets and slayed many of my dragons. Life is just mean sometimes. But I’m thankful for 8 years with my sweet angel baby, Mr. Ernie Spagurnie Squirmy Wormy and all 5200 of his magic toes. I will miss you forever and ever and ever and ever and ever, pal by @shelbertay

the real real of the past year. i made a promise to myself in 2020 to come back home to myself after years of disassociating through pain. 2025 was the first year i was able to look back and not just hug little me, but begin to forgive young adult me for not knowing how to live more gently for so long and let her be weird, wild and here again. here’s to many more moments of being cringe but free!! 🧍‍♀️🤸🏼‍♀️🫶🏼 also it’s gonna be a good year because the world cup happens so 🥅🌈 by @shelbertay

spotify wrapped taught me that no matter how cool i think i am, i am actually just a girl ✨💅🏼🧍‍♀️ (which has actually always been the coolest part about me besides that time i met jon foreman, my childhood hero, & ended up just telling him his music rocked my world 🪿🤸🏼‍♀️) by @shelbertay
