Both of these now classic records started with a simple idea 🎸🎹

Years later, I'm still helping artists and producers bring records to life through guitar-driven melodies, textures and atmosphere.

3 years ago I walked into my first label session having no idea what to play. There was no guitar in hip-hop/trap at the time. Nothing to go off of. But I found my own way and my own approach based off of the guitar riffs I grew up on. Everything from Guns N' Roses and Led Zepplin all the way to Tony, Toni, Tone and the Isley Brothers. I bounced around Atlanta not knowing exactly where it would take me but the sound caught on and the rest is history. Grateful to be a part of this movement. More vibes otw. Just getting started.

Happy Anniversary Princess! Grateful to share all of life’s adventures with you. I love you @nareaferg by @sheldonferg

Sometimes all a record needs is the right starting point. The right progression creates an emotional center that allows everything else to fall into place. 💿📀

Creating the foundation for a record is one of my favorite things to do! Before the lyrics, the drums, etc, there’s a simple idea that sparks creativity.

I love helping artists and producers bring records to life through guitar-driven melodies, textures and atmosphere.

I’m two days late, but I couldn’t let the moment pass without sharing how much fatherhood means to me.

I’ve been fortunate enough to see just about every one of my dreams come to life, but nothing comes close to the joy of raising our little girl. At the age of 3 she is extremely creative, loves to read, has a high level of emotional intelligence, takes great care of her plants, prepares her own food, highly independent, I could go on all day.

I honestly learn just as much from her as she does from me. I’m so grateful to be Lalah Jo’s Dad.

Happy Fathers Day! by @sheldonferg

@nareaferg I am so grateful for you today and everyday. You brought our perfect little girl into this world. You create opportunities everyday for her to learn and explore. Our lives are extraordinary because of you. Thank you for all that you sow into our family. We love you. Happy Mother’s Day! by @sheldonferg
