I speak to the power of transferable skills, resilience, and radical reinvention.

✨Your plot twist is your power move—I’ve lived it. I want to help you through it!

As a TDO (i.e. Training Development Officer) I play a critical role in the training of all Canadian Armed Forces Military members, by ensuring training is as effective and efficient as possible. I’m engaged at all levels of training, including high level strategic plans. I spearhead changes in instructional methodology, instructional techniques and advise on training doctrine and policy. I lead subject matter experts, in developing their training from the ground up. I advise senior leadership offering analysis and insight on how best to train Canada’s military at all levels to meet the needs of Canada’s missions both domestic and abroad.

Being a TDO is the ability to leave a legacy time and time again in Canada. Seeing my name on official documents that literally change and effect the training of Canadian Armed Forces’ members that further intern works to keep Canadians safe, and our country’s defence in excellence, is a distinction that I don’t take lightly.

They nickname us: “Change Agents!”

🚨Swipe: Had a great time serving as a host for the Jesus in the City parade and event in Toronto! Thank you for having me. 🙏

People often ask how I balance different lanes: Military Officer, TV and Event Host and Career Coach. Truth is, it’s not balance. It’s mission. Every lane serves the same mission: leading, advancing verifiable change at high levels, and helping people show up as their best self.

The longer you talk about your last job, the more it sounds like you never actually left it.

Being asked what you’ve taught yourself recently trips people up. They think the skill itself alone is the impressive part. There’s more. Watch to the end.

Don’t ignore the small talk during a job interview. It’s also what they’re judging you on.
