Here’s the Nigerian woman’s actual version of that advice: know your worth in naira and dollars, negotiate like your rent depends on it (because it does), build something that survives you having an off month, and stop calling burnout “grind culture.” Girlboss energy without boundaries is just a nicer name for exhaustion.

If you’ve ever finished a “boss babe” book more tired than inspired, you already know what I mean.

Aurora is expressive, affectionate, and full of heart, a girl who has been made to feel like she is “too much” far too often. Russ is quiet, reserved, and emotionally careful, and watching him learn how to show up without shutting down was genuinely satisfying.

What stood out most was the communication. There is intention in how these characters listen to each other, respect boundaries, and grow together. The summer camp setting created the perfect forced proximity, while the found family dynamics added depth and comfort to the story.

Final thoughts 💭 I like Beau ☺️ He is a cutie and I like the fact that there was this ‘wonderful’ surprise waiting for me while I read the book. Out of all the Eatons? I think he might just be my favorite lol, but I sincerely loved Bailey and her sense of humor definitely reminded me of me way too much 🤣 Like raise your hand if you say inappropriate jokes and comments to the guy you like 👀 *raises hand*

P.S. You are not a fan of intimate scenes & stuff like partner 🪒‘ing them, then this book is NOT for you at all 🙂 cuz that man was all up in her business.

Final thoughts 💭 I genuinely want to hold Winter so SO tight because being a first born daughter, and having to account for everyone’s feelings, second guessing yourself like you are never enough, and never catering to your own needs… self… being is the toughest battle scars to carry. I am so glad that she had Theo, and I mean this with my whole heart that every first born daughter should date, marry and get knocked up by a Theo Silva because WHAT 👏 A 👏 MAN 👏

Final thoughts 💭Sloane girl 😂 you have better restraints and patience than I do because ain’t no way my trust issues won’t rear its ugly head at Jasper after all this time BUT I get it. A whole Hockey player at that 🤭
I like the fact that the character development with these two were dealt with way better than I expected and the situation with Jasper’s family wasn’t glossed over or pushed hard to the “happily ever after” zone— it was realistic as they come.
THIS book was the spiciest 🥵 out of the 3 I have read thus far in this series 😭 I stayed up to finish it cuz it was THAT good.

Them lil nasties worse than Cade and Willa 🌝
