It was more than a race. It years of commitment.

It was countless 5am mornings that are now my everyday way of life
It was those heavy weights that I can now lift with ease
It was looking in the mirror & hating the reflection I would see
It was being diagnosed with a genetic condition that I still live with everyday
It was not being able to run 1km & now to run more than 10km
It was leaving toxic relationships & patterns that broke me
It was thinking I’m never going to be fit enough - to knowing I am
It was falling in love with new routines & goals I set for myself
It was new friendships that will last a lifetime & my OGs in my corner
It was literally the definition of blood, sweat & tears
It was the hours of hard work behind closed doors that nobody saw

It was 2 years ago I walked into the world of hyrox, the first held in Perth & whispered to myself ‘I’m going to do this one day’

And that one day came.

But really…

You sure know how to put on a show @wellahair @wellapro_anz ❤️‍🔥

What an incredible past 4 days! We talked business, product launches, a whole LOT of AI (my mind is seriously blown 🤯), we danced, we yapped… and yapped some more. We talked education, got deep, and laughed A LOT.

I’ve walked away with endless information, ideas and possibilities. But more importantly, I’ve walked away feeling inspired, re-energised and with a passion for our industry again… something I didn’t even realise I was missing.

I’ve truly missed this. Being in a room full of like-minded business owners, managers, industry educators and leaders, sharing ideas, keeping it real and just ‘getting it’.

And when I say Wella is like a family… I mean it. I was blown away by the people in that room. No egos. No BS. Just genuine humans who love this industry as much as I do.

Thank you, Wella, for the best few days and for the opportunity… I’m so grateful.

But most importantly, thank you to my WA fam. I walked into this conference knowing no one, and I walked out with lifelong friendships and support 🫶🏼

What a bloody GREAT few days ✨ #wellaredforum26 taken in Seoul, South Korea by @shell_finessi
