The stars are ALIGNING. ✨🥹

A mom reached out because she needed a car seat, and my sister just happened to find one for her. 🥹❤️

This is exactly why I do this. The Community Baby Shower isn’t just about one day—it’s about creating a community where moms feel comfortable enough to ASK for help, and where we can come together to say, “I’ve got you.”

Sometimes the blessing is in the donation. Sometimes it’s in the connection. Sometimes it’s simply being willing to ask. And when we all play our part, the stars really do align. ✨

I’m so grateful for everyone helping make this year’s shower amazing—and even more grateful that the impact is already reaching moms in our community. 🤍

This one is personal. 🤎

I’m not just creating this Community Baby Shower for “other” moms. I am one of these moms.

I’m a single mother navigating my own challenges, including a major court date on October 5th, while preparing to pour into other women who may be going through their own version of starting over, fighting for stability, needing resources, or simply needing a community that sees them.

And THAT is why yesterday meant so much to me. 🥹

We officially surpassed our $1,000 donation goal!

And today, we are officially 10 DAYS AWAY from October 10th. 🎉

Every donation, every share, every business that has said yes, every volunteer, and every person who has asked, “How can I help?” is making this possible.

Sometimes the hardest parts of our own stories become the reason we show up for someone else.

That’s what Sisters United is for me.

My first runway show. 🥹✨ And what an experience.

The event was beautiful, the photos came out AMAZING, and I’m just so grateful for the momentum I’ve been experiencing lately.

What makes this season even more special is that it’s happening here in Charlotte — the city I was born in. 🤎 I don’t think I could’ve imagined how much this city would eventually become part of my growth, my community, and honestly, rediscovering who I am after becoming a mom.

Motherhood changed me in so many ways, and these last few years have been about finding the woman in me again — not separate from being a mother, but alongside it.

And lately? I feel like I’m meeting her more and more. 🥹

Modeling. Creating. Hosting. Building community. Trying new things. Saying yes to opportunities that once felt outside of my comfort zone.

My first runway show feels like another little reminder that there is still so much of me left to discover.

So grateful for this chapter, this city, this community, and the momentum. 🤍✨

Sound On…😂 but in actuality, the more consistent I’ve become with fasting, the easier these 3 days have become. I’m able to acknowledge the hunger without feeling like I have to respond to it, and instead use that time to pray, get in the Word, and be intentional with God. 🤍📖

Now my algorithm??? THAT is the real test. 😭😂 Suddenly every meal on my feed looks like something I absolutely need to make when this fast is over.

Sunday reset… but when was the resting part? 😭😂

Went to church, got gas, deep conditioned my hair, washed my makeup brushes, reorganized my pantry and my closet, organized my spices, mopped the floors, and prepped for next week’s photoshoot.

It’s also day 2 of my fast, so I’m making room to reset spiritually, too. Praying for clarity and being intentional about spending time with God. 🤍

Can’t say I have everything figured out, but my floors are clean and the paprika has a place. 😂

Did you reset today or just rest? Both count.
