We are Shell-eberating! As of April 4th, 2022, I am legally Shell Ryan Mullennex!

As some of you know, or have noticed, I have been going by Shell since 2019. I also have been out as non-binary/trans since 2019 as well. My pronouns are they/them and/or he/him.

My life has always been a journey. I knew something was off about me since I was a young child and it never made sense to me until I got older. I’m very proud of who I am and of the human I have become. I know some of y’all won’t understand, and that is okay. I just ask you respect me and my new name moving forward. It is okay to mess up, all I ask is that you try. Thank you 💛

This time last year I was coming out of surgery feeling like a new person. My chest bothered me ever since I could remember and I always wish I could have a flat chest. A year ago today, that dream became a reality.
.
I can't believe it's been one year since my top surgery! I am forever thankful for Dr. Raphael in Plano, TX and his team. I'm thankful for my mom for taking care of me during my recovery. I'm thankful this was a possibility for me and that I feel much more comfortable in my own skin. It's such an amazing feeling and I couldn't be happier about it.
