Happy weekend #newmusic lovers ❤️🎶

This coming Monday I welcome the awesome @shellrobinsondj to my #syntheticdreams show over at @protonradio 🙌🔥

Shell Robinson is a progressive, melodic and organic house producer and DJ based in the
San Francisco Bay Area. Shell has released on many of the scene's prominent labels including Manual Music, Polyptych, Juicebox, InU, UV Noir,
Schallmauer, Big Bells and Hexagonal. A classically trained pianist, she came to electronic
music late and treats that as an advantage.
She writes from the premise that music heals. That's not a tagline; it's the reason the tracks
exist. Recent work includes "Amends" on Droid9 South America and the "Peace of Mind" EP
on Hexagonal, with "Energy Surrounds You" landing on Manual Music alongside remixes
from Jou Nielsen and Nichols & Roark. 👌

She also hosts Progressive State Radio, championing newer artists who need more ears
alongside top progressive and melodic producers.

Hope you can join us 🎧

LE SOUFFLE DU SOLEIL — A MILESTONE FOR D9SA

Three genres. Three international Top 10 positions.

#1 — Ambient / Experimental
#3 — Organic House
#7 — Progressive House

Reaching these positions on Beatport’s Top Releases charts is a meaningful achievement, especially for an independent record label from Argentina.

Behind every release, there’s a tremendous amount of work, dedication and belief in the music. Competing in international charts alongside established labels and artists from around the world makes these results even more special to us.

Le Souffle du Soleil, curated by @crisrosalesmusic, is a reflection of what we believe in: different artists, different musical identities and the freedom to explore beyond genres.

Congratulations to everyone who made this possible:

@vitaly_0990 · @rebuspro · @marcoscale · @shellrobinsondj · @havjersbeat · @dj.francoarc · @gibsom.alex

And a sincere thank you to everyone who supported this release.

Independent music can travel far.

LE SOUFFLE DU SOLEIL

I love crate digging for rare music finds and I also adore a good remix.

Energy Surrounds got two remixes, and both took it somewhere I couldn't have gone on my own. Today the @nicholsandroark remix is #4 on @beatport 's Indie Dance Releases chart and #37 on Indie Dance Hype. The release, with the original and @jounielsenmusic 's remix, is #5 on Progressive House Releases. On Progressive House Hype, Jou's remix is #55 and the original is #62. Same song, two completely different journeys. That's why I love a great remix.

So I built a Beatport chart to celebrate it. Remixing Dreams is 15 remixes that each take an original somewhere new: @christopher_mohn on @circulation_music , @timgreen_music on @trilucidofficial , @emigalvanmusic on @djnickwarren, @jamie.infusion on @doppel.au , @matthew.sona on @madraasmusic , @extrawelt on @somethingelse & Kynara, @royrosenfeld_ofc on Y-Traxx, @djsashaofficial on his own Raft In The Sea, @guyjdiary on @budakid , @leanrobotti on @christiansmithofc, @selsi_stuisles on @dj.delexie é, @gorge_music on @stefan_obermaier & Marner, and @stereo_munk_official on @djphillosopher Swipe through and tell me which one's your favorite.

Huge thanks to @paulhazendonk and @manual.music for giving Energy Surrounds a home, and for putting it in the hands of remixers this good.

Linktree in bio, or DM me and I'll send your favorite link personally. Cheers to the music that brings us together.

I'm an original '80s girl. I made it through my teenage years with Depeche Mode, Howard Jones, The Psychedelic Furs, Boy George, Duran Duran, and all the greats on repeat.

So when Nichols & Roark sent over their remix of "Energy Surrounds You," I liked it instantly. I could hear those roots in it. But this isn't a throwback. It's fresh and fully its own thing: forward-thinking, boundary-pushing indie dance that nods to where I came from without living there.

Now it's sitting at #4 on the @beatport Indie Dance chart.

Huge thanks to @nicholsandroark for the vision and the craft on this one, and to @paulhazendonk @manual.music for giving it a home. And thank you to every DJ and listener who's picked it up. You're the reason it's climbing.

There's something vulnerable about handing a track you love to another artist. You let go and trust they'll hear something in it you couldn't.

@jounielsenmusic did exactly that with "Energy Surrounds You." His remix is out on @manual.music now. Give it a listen and turn it up.

A quick update from this morning:
Jou Nielsen remix, #82 in Progressive House Hype
Energy Surrounds You EP, #11 in Progressive House Releases
@nicholsandroark remix, #5 in Indie Dance Releases and #44 in Indie Dance Hype

Big thanks to Manual Music and @paulhazendonk for the support, and especially to Jou for his touch and creative interpretation of the original. Honored to be part of such a talented team.

Three versions. One idea. Good energy.

Energy Surrounds You landed at #17 on @beatport 's Progressive House Releases chart today, with remixes from @jounielsenmusic and @nicholsandroark. And the Nichols & Roark remix is sitting at #5 on the Indie Dance Hype Releases chart. Each one hears the track differently, and I love all three for it.

The video here is my original, which Beatport just included in their Top September Progressive House tracks. Still a little surreal.

So thankful for the early support on these. Huge thanks to @paulhazendonk and @manual.music for bringing this trio of sounds together, and to Jou Nielsen and Nichols & Roark for their beautiful interpretations.

Whatever you're doing today, let some good energy surround you. Dance. Work. Clean the house. Spend time with the people you love, or sit with yourself for a while. Put on some music.

San Francisco Bay Area based artist Shell Robinson makes her Manual Music debut with Energy Surrounds, a deeply immersive progressive house journey that draws you in from the very first beat. Dreamy, mysterious and repetitive vocals weave their way through the hypnotic groove, creating an atmosphere that feels both emotional and otherworldly. The original is a captivating piece of progressive music that slowly pulls you deeper with every listen.

Jou Nielsen (Stripped / Hollystone / Univack) delivers a peak time progressive house interpretation, adding drive and intensity while retaining the essence of the original. Nichols+Roark (The Soundgarden, All Day I Dream, Rennaissance) take things in a different direction with a synth heavy Indie Dance remix, bringing an in-your-face and more electronic edge to the package.
