I’m not really one to post this kind of thing on social media but this has hit me so hard.

Having reached her 80th birthday 6 days earlier my lovely mum finally lost her battle with Alzheimer’s on Thursday 30th April.
Falling in love, marrying my Nigerian father and going on to raise 5 brown children in the 1970/80s couldn’t have been easy.
She was an amazing, strong, courageous and loving woman with a zest for life and adventure.

RIP Lynne Nriapia - my mum ❤️ by @shelltoes73

Rogue Artists’ Studios turns 30! 🥳
I was proud to be a studio member for 11 years (2000-2011).
Here’s a few snaps from back in the day followed by one of my current home studio.

As a past member I’m taking part in this 👇🏽
During open studios as part of Rogue’s 30th anniversary, current and former Rogue artists will be showing in Soft Proof – a group exhibition celebrating the art of work-in-progress.
Why ‘Soft Proof’?
Borrowed from the printmaking term, Soft Proof refers to a preview version of a work before it goes to press. This exhibition honours the same spirit – a celebration of flux, process, and Rogue as a space of becoming.
After 30 years, we’re still in progress!
Curated by @shortsupplymcr, Soft Proof runs September 20th until 5th October.
Come take a peek 😎
