There is something for everybody. Enjoy restaurants, Night life, relaxing with the kids underneath the stars, farmers markets and night markets, coffee shops, wine bars, live music, shopping, free events and so much more!

The holiday season is always one of my favorite times to come out to appreciate all the Christmas lights, the majestic Christmas tree and the ice skating rink.

One of my favorite parts of being a homeowner is having a yard for my three dogs and living in a walkable neighborhood—with a park nearby being a huge bonus.

As a real estate agent and dog owner, I’ve helped many families buy and sell homes with pets, and it doesn’t have to be stressful if you’re prepared.

A deep clean to eliminate pet odors is a great first step. For showings, plan ahead—whether that means boarding your dog, heading to the park, or taking a quick drive.

If those aren’t options, crating your pup in a non-primary room, covering the crate, and leaving a note for buyers can make all the difference.

The goal is simple: make selling easier for you, your dog, and potential buyers.

In case you are trying to figure out what to watch this weekend, I highly recommend The Lizzie Borden Story on Netflix. Between yesterday and today I have binged 6 episodes. But to clarify, I have watched up to episode 3.. but I did it twice. Yesterday I watched with my husband, and today I made my daughter watch to catch up so that I had someone to discuss with 😂 All three of us are hooked. The acting and performances are phenomenal and the music 🧑‍🍳😘. The Monster series nails it every time. by @shellylozanorealtor

This was 32 yr. old me when she thought she had to hide her body and extra fluff and because she didn’t have a six pack 😂. Why do we do this to ourselves as women? I can still hear my bestie Michelle Klein saying “One day we are gonna look back at ourselves and say we were hot” Whenever we tried to cover our arms, bellies and shift angles. Here I am 14 years later, I see nothing wrong with this 32 yr. old woman. What I would give to just look like that! But I’d be a hypocrite not to love or to be unkind to myself today. At 46, I am a work in progress.. not just on the outside, but internally. What used to matter at 32, today just doesn’t. I remember that 32 yr. old girl. I love her. But I am a totally different person today in many ways while there are parts of my being that haven’t changed. I love me still. Take the darn picture. One day it will make you smile. by @shellylozanorealtor

Today we got to celebrate my sister DJ and Brandon as we await the arrival of their baby boy. The FIRST baby and boy to the fam in 29 years!! Up to date, Mimi is the only grandchild. So to say this is a long awaited and very exciting moment for our fam, is of no exaggeration. Today I am proud of myself and I showed up for me.

I had fallen off the gym wagon like I do from time to time throughout the years. So I got back up when my friend who is a gym baddie offered to workout with me and push me. She is amazing and what she lifts.. crazy! So today, she was beyond sore and needed a rest day. I let 2 seconds of “No, I’m not going.. I don’t even know what to do.” enter my mind after she told me. But I said “nope.. figure it out, girlie… you have a cell phone and access to gym Reels.” Today is leg day so I worked on deadlifts and squats, lighter weights of course with more reps. And because I am at the age where I should be doing more sledding (a very important movement to strengthen bones) I pushed myself. I was huffing and puffing and sweating like crrrazy… and I don’t sweat. I went back and fourth with this weight 3x for a total of 6 sled pushes down what felt like forever. As I was midway, I heard voices of girls yelling “C’mon, you got this… get it get it!” The court-side was busy per usual at the Y and the teens are zoned in throwing basketball shots and practicing their volley ball serves. I look over, and 4 teenaged girls from Eisenhower HS are cheering me on. It was truly the most humbling and most beautiful thing. They all ran over once I was done to high 5 me and gave the sled a go. They are young, fit and athletic and they struggled just like me. I felt an immediate sense of connection and community. One girl in particular, kept looking over and smiling at me as I finished my other workouts. Suddenly, I felt like I was in High school all over again and finally accepted by the cool kids.
