Some amount of fireworks tonight. Cookie had to go on a holiday to where it’s quiet. by @shelsfan

Another season over. Enjoyable atmosphere and night in Tolka Park. People making the best of the dead rubber match. However it did have the feel of let’s get this over so we can move on. The result and way the game went on the pitch says everything about our season. Put it to bed and move on. Hopefully next season will be better. Giving players a send off, it really did feel like the end of something and the start of something new on the horizon. We wait to see what that new is because playing like that is exciting but we won’t finish any higher up the league. Let’s see what the off season brings with player movement in and out. by @shelsfan

Lovely full moon tonight over Drogheda as the darkness sets in early as we move into Samhain. It looked even better in person as the clouds moved rapidly across the night sky periodically blocking the moonlight over the housetops. by @shelsfan

Absolutely brilliant night at the Lú Festival of Light. Always one of the best nights of the year in my opinion. Super festival for children and adults with a great night life culture. by @shelsfan

Had to settle for a home end ticket tonight. Thanks very much to the person who sorted me out (they know who they are). Have to say it’s as big a kip in the home end as it is in the away. I just don’t like there. However this was probably my most enjoyable trip to Richmond Park. To be in amongst them as they had their meltdown was a sight and feeling to behold. Sitting silently on my hands, trying to contain my delight. It’s was wonderful! My favourite match of season so far. Lastly the donut was over priced. by @shelsfan

At half time I didn’t really see that coming if honest. Wonderful scoreline and a comfortable win in the end against a poor Sligo team. I really hope this is the foundation of what will follow for Shels under John Russell. Great incentive by the club getting people into the ground. Tolka was heaving for a fixture that in the past has had poor attendances. Thanks also to @i_cottie and @hazard2urmind of the Virgina Reds for the new pin. Delighted to add it to my collection. by @shelsfan
