Happy Friendship Day to the people who are equally responsible for my ever-growing TBR and my permanently endangered bank balance. 💌📚

I asked some of my favourite bookish humans to share their top 3 reads of the year (so far), and they actually understood the assignment. No gatekeeping, no "I can't pick just three" (well... mostly 👀).🤭

June dump 🌸📚✨

June felt like one of those months that quietly gave us a little bit of everything.

🌅 Chased sunsets, found pretty views, tried new cafés, and somehow every meal tasted better because it came with good company. (Yes, we definitely took pictures before eating. No regrets.)

🤍 Finally got to meet after weeks of long-distance, and suddenly all those "I miss you" texts felt worth it. Time together always goes by way too fast though.

📖 This month was kind to my bookshelf too. We met anxious people, wandered through stormy moors, stepped into magical worlds, and somehow added even more books to the TBR. Loved each and every second of it.

🍜 And of course... the food. If June taught us anything, it's that calories don't count when you're "just trying it for the plot." I'm sticking to that logic.

Here's to a month full of stories, both the ones we read and the ones we got to live. 💛

Book review: RITES OF THE STARLING ✨ 🌖 🪶

✨💝I genuinely don't know where to begin.
The first book was incredible, but this sequel completely blew my mind away. It took everything I loved about the first book and elevated it to another level. The world-building was absolutely phenomenal. Every setting felt vivid and alive, the kingdoms, the cities, the forests, jungles, hills, ravines, seas, and every hidden corner of this world. The author crafted such a rich and immersive landscape that I could picture everything perfectly in my mind.💖

💫What amazes me most is how she even came up with stories like this. The complexity of the plot, the intricate details, and the way everything fits together so seamlessly is truly commendable.🏔️

🌄This book took me on an emotional roller coaster. It made me cry. It made me smile. It made me gasp in shock. It made my heart full. It made me furious with certain characters. It made me feel everything. And honestly, that is exactly what I want from a fantasy novel.🌔

💕❤️‍🔥And then there was that ending.
I was absolutely shaken. I could barely process what had happened in the end. I finished the final page and immediately wanted more. I still cannot think straight after that ending.💌

♥️As for my Dess, Ranse and Evie—after everything they have endured, everything they have sacrificed, and everything they have overcome—I want nothing but happiness for them. They deserve it. They deserve to be together. They deserve peace. Watching them grow into the companions they were meant to become was one of the most rewarding parts of the story. I also felt so bad for Andreas. Out of all the characters, he was the one my heart broke for most, go figure. I sobbed at the ending. I can't wait for the next book. It is killing me.🔥
This series is everything I want fantasy to be.

This is a perfect example of when the second book in a series is just as good as the first one, maybe even better. 😍

And Now, Back To You is such a sweet and beautiful book. It talks about vulnerabilities, insecurities, and the feeling of not being enough. But at the same time, it reminds us that we are enough and perfect in our own way, and the people who truly love us never want us to change ourselves for them.❤️

💓Jackson is honestly the sweetest person ever. The way he cares for everyone around him, his sisters, his friends, and especially Delilah, was so wholesome and heartwarming. And Delilah is such a lovely girl. Even after people treated her badly and said mean things to her, she never changed who she was. They are truly perfect for each other. The way they love and adore one another feels so pure and genuine. It shows the comfort of having someone who genuinely loves you, in your corner. 💖

✨This book made me laugh, but there were also moments that made me emotional and tear up a little. It really made my heart feel full. Everything about this book felt perfect. I loved it so much. Don't wait to pick it up. This whole series is awesome. Go read it.💞
