Mushy post incoming.

Thankful all for the birthday wishes 🩷
Here I am 82 (28) trips around the sun 🤭🌞 omg I’m like 2 years from 30, it’s crazy to think about sometimes. 😱

Despite the personal worries I’ve had this week, (praying really hard for my auntie/godmom Marion to get better. She’s been on my mind all day yesterday)
I had a wonderful time, spent the day with my besties and spent the evening sitting around a fire with even more people that I love.
Sheesh I woke up today still smelling like smoke. 😂💀
Words that can’t express how grateful I am to have these special people in my life.
This past year has brought so many goofy friendships and memories, and I’m so thankful for everyone who’s been part of my journey here on Unci Maka. This sentiment also extends to my interns at work 🫶🏽 I love you all.

And I just wanted to say
It was a bittersweet night as we also celebrated the retirement of a really cool person that made such a positive impact on our artistic careers with his encouragement and support, you’ve helped shape not only our confidence in our art but in ourselves as well! Your belief in your students has not gone unnoticed and that’s something we’ll carry with us long after we’ve graduated. I’m so for real.
we’re gonna miss you so much Jared! I’m glad we got to celebrate everything you’ve done for us. We’re wishing nothing but the best for you! You’ve definitely earned it 🫶🏽

With all that said, here’s to another trip around the sun. 🤗 by @shena.rose

I’m so proud of our interns/coworkers/friends who helped and gave support!! 🥹🫶🏽
🌸🌺✨🌾🌼 I’ve definitely gotten my summer tan on.
