Okay y’all… I’m doing something new and I’m nervous but excited about it.😅

Let me just say it… I’m 45, married, running a business, raising a daughter, and still carrying weight. The weight of my physical body, doubt, new seasons, and the unknown of the future. And somewhere in all that doing, I lost track of just being me. 😔

So here’s what’s happening… I’ve decided to document it all where I am and where God is taking me… and nope, it is NOT going to be cute. No filters, no perfection… just me, real talk, showing up as I actually am that day. 🫣

I think a lot of us are out here doing ALL the things… wife, mom, boss and still feel like we haven’t found ourselves. Like we’re waiting for permission to just… be. Well consider this your permission slip, because I’m giving myself mine.📝

I thought by 45 I would have it all figured out but that’s the farthest thing from the truth. I am still figuring it out. I’m still learning. I am still pursing Him. I am still becoming the woman God has called me to be. ❤️

My favorite time of year with my favorite people. This season has allowed us to fill up as a family unit. They both are truly a gift from God. ❤️

God is teaching me how to love on myself and serve them while preparing me to serve others. I wish I could say it was easy but it’s definitely necessary. Thank you Jesus.🙏🏽🎄❤️

Second grade. 🥹💙

Watching Gabby walk in this morning with her big smile… I don’t think I’ve fully processed how fast we got here. Wasn’t it just day care drop-off? 😩

I had to share this with my favorite teacher, MY 2nd grade teacher. Decades later and I still remember exactly how loved she made me feel. That kind of impact doesn’t fade. ☺️

I pray Gabby gets to experience a teacher who leaves that same mark on her heart. 🙏
