This is my friend Michael Kearns
Growing up as a young Queer kid and just beginning to learn about Queer history, his name stuck out to me. Probably because we had the same first name but also because of the way he presented his truth. It was unapologetic.
And for me, freeing.
Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be friends with this Gay Icon, but then to become his colleague? Mind blowing!
We lost Michael last night. This is a tough one. He was my champion. Always there for a call if I needed him.
He was truly one of a kind.
This is a pic of me presenting him with the Chuck Rowland Pioneer Award for his contribution to LGBTQ+ awareness
It was a very happy and proud day for me. And I hope for him.

10:30am. Wednesday. I believe every theatre in LA should do a family and friends theatre matinee.
PERICLES currently running at the sexy Boston Court Pasadena did just that. This morning.
And anyone who knows me knows how I really feel about Shakespeare
And I have to tell you, this production is top notch. Congratulations to all!

A much needed date night with the hubby to see Water For Elephants at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre
Lots of delicious people onstage and definitely in the audience. What a night!
