Very pleased to have my work included in Artdoc Magazine online exhibition ‘Altered Climate’. Art plays a vital role in bringing to attention important issues such as climate change with work that displays and explores its environmental consequences. This publication lines up a remarkable group of artists who document the disruption caused by a warming climate and I am honored to be included. #suzannetheodorawhite #artdocmagazine @artdocmagazine #climatechange #maineartist @suzannetheodorawhite mainephotograper @mainearts artsinmaine NEAarts by @shepherdess1

Having a great week at Maine Media working with Brenton Hamilton in the Haas Lab. I’m trying to understand and learn more about Platinum/Palladium printing. It’s been loads of fun so far. I feel so lucky to be here. #mainemediaworkshops #suzannetheodorawhite @brentonhamilton @mainemedia @artsinmaine by @shepherdess1

It’s official today. The Sacred Grandmother project is supported by the Maine Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts. While the Sacred Grandmother is a life long project the grant will help to complete a part of it and to exhibit. Some of it will be shown at the University of Maine Orono in the winter of 2027. I am deeply honored to have been selected. #mainearts #artsinmaine #NEAarts #suzannetheodorawhite by @shepherdess1

I am very happy to share the good news that I’ve been awarded a Maine Arts Council Grant to finish some work on The Sacred Grandmother series. This is a project I’ve been working on since 2019. The installations and photographic documentation represent my search for a personal belief system in this chaotic unstable world. She is my rock and everyone needs a rock. Some of the work on this project will be shown at the University of Maine, Orono in 2027. #ecoart #suzannetheodorawhite #rock #sacredgrandmother #thesacredgrandmother by @shepherdess1
