There’s something about being an only child that teaches you early on that family can be something you create, as much as something you’re born into.Friendships have never simply been friendships to me. They’ve been home, anchors, mirrors, and chapters of my life that I treasure deeply. They are the people who have laughed until sunrise with me, held me through heartbreak, celebrated the smallest victories, and quietly reminded me who I am when I’ve forgotten.As I’ve grown older, I’ve realised that life isn’t measured by what we own or where we go, but by the memories we gather with the people who make us feel most alive. The conversations around a dinner table, spontaneous adventures, shared sunsets, endless laughter, and those moments that seem ordinary until one day they become the stories you tell forever.My little tribe may not be the biggest, but it is everything. Thank you for filling my life with kindness, adventure, perspective, and so much joy. What a special evening.I was absolutely delighted to see my friend Deepa bring a dream to life. Watching the launch of the Think Deepa Podcast Live Series was a reminder that the most meaningful things often begin with a simple idea, a great deal of courage and the determination to just go and do it.The room was filled with warmth, honesty, laughter and connection. It was wonderful to listen to Chelsee speak so openly and authentically. I realised on Wednesday evening that it must be close to ten years since we last saw each other, yet some people have a way of making it feel as though no time has passed at all.What made the evening even more special was seeing so many familiar faces. There is something rather lovely about being in a room full of people who have crossed your path at different stages of life and career, all coming together to support someone they believe in.Congratulations, Deepa. To take an idea from your heart and turn it into a reality takes courage, vision and commitment. There’s something about friendship that feels like home in its purest form. Not loud, not forced, just steady, grounding, and always there when you need it most.It’s in the quiet moments as much as the big ones. The conversations that don’t need explaining, the laughter that comes easily, the way you can be completely yourself without hesitation. True friendship isn’t about perfection, it’s about presence. About showing up, again and again, through every version of who you are becoming.I’ve come to realise that friendships shape us in ways we don’t always see straight away. They hold us in the in-between moments, remind us of who we are when we forget, and celebrate us without condition. They grow with us, evolve with us, and somehow still feel constant in a world that moves so quickly.To have someone who understands you without needing words, who supports you without expectation, and who stands beside you with genuine love, that is everything.Friendship, to me, is one of the most beautiful forms of connection we get to experience. So many memories together, the good and the challenging, but ultimately the magic of being connected. You are the only person I have ever met who truly understood what it was like growing up with a bipolar parent. I will forever say your aura is bigger than you know @tulisacontostavlos What so few people realise is that working with you was never just a client relationship. Your world was often turbulent, high-octane, and dazzling, but behind those incredible Disney eyes was simply a young girl suddenly thrown into the spotlight. I always felt protective of you.I saw the vulnerable T.I saw the real T.I saw the young woman accused of something I knew, with every fibre of my being, was deeply wrong. I will never forget seeing that front page splashed across every paper!I am endlessly proud that you now get to tell your story. No one can truly imagine how horrific that time was, but through it all you have always carried a magical aura and a deep spiritual core.Your book Judgment is out now, and I urge everyone to read it, it is raw, powerful and a testament to your strength. Every day, we meet incredible women facing some of life’s toughest challenges. Many are out of work, lacking confidence, and unsure of their next steps.But when they walk through our doors, something shifts.We provide high-quality clothing, one-to-one interview coaching, and most importantly, hope. 69% of the women we support go on to get the job within a month. Matty, what a dad you are! I honestly can’t put into words how grateful I am to have had you by my side through it all!! You’ve been our brave and unconditional constant, our calm, our strength.
