You don’t have to be fluent in ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi to use it every day. Replacing simple words and phrases like “Hi” and “Thank you” with “Aloha” and “Mahalo” is a simple switch that can go a long way. The more you use these words, the more others will pick up on it—and soon, you’ll hear them using it too. #Aloha #Mahalo #ʻŌleloHawaiʻi by @shereenballes

Aloha Mai Kākou! ‘O wau Shereen Patrice Keli’i’ōpua Balles @shereenballes . Noho ma Wai’ānae ma ka mokupuni o O’ahu ma Hawai’i nei.

I am kanaka mā’oli- indigenous/native person of Hawai’i. Lights...Camera... Action... That's it!

PC: #Vizualenz aka #JessicaKawelo had a fun time with the request I had of her. I asked her to filter me into black and white, but hints of color in other things, and this is what she created!!! I absolutely love it !
