Introducing The Papier-Mâché Collection. All made in gold plated silver with exquisite enamel work.
I absolutely loved designing the pieces for this! I was inspired by the Dahlia which is the focus of each piece in the collection, especially this ring. A lot goes on behind the scenes when designing - it’s not just about drawing or sketching, there’s a whole story, thought process & a great deal of research before you even get to the stage of sketching out a design. Aligning every aspect of the process and incorporating this into just one piece of jewellery and then the whole collection is the fun part for me!
Papier Mâché is an integral part of Kashmir and our artisans give this craft a whole other meaning with their precision, skills and eye for detail.
My intention behind the Papier Mâché Collection is to celebrate this colourful & exclusive art of Kashmir and revive our culture & heritage through my designs.

What started off as a dream of mine has sadly come to an end. Designing pieces of art linked to various moments in my life - telling a story through each of them gave me such immense satisfaction; more so when others wore them. Maintaining my small jewellery business has no longer become sustainable for many reasons…and that’s ok. I’ve come to terms with this and as much as it hurts my heart to close this chapter, I know something else is waiting for me around the corner.

Happy New Year! All this snow in London has made me reminisce about our trip to Türkiye 🇹🇷lounging with my latte and book stack!

I especially enjoyed Butter by Asako Yuzuki - highly recommend reading this delicious thriller inspired by a real life case of a serial killer; a dark story of misogyny, obsession, power and greed.

The most beautifully written book I have ever read. Elif Shafak @shafakelif you have my heart with There Are Rivers in the Sky; it has captured our world of nature, emotions, history, humanity and so much more in a way that resonates with me on so many levels.
