Improvisation 🫶🏽 been creating so much lately which is filling up my cup! This was such a playful day! 💕 more to come! Considering I don’t have ballet training & never been to an on ice choreo class, I’m pretty proud of this! More to work on, fine tuning and finishing movements fully. Fun practice day! I worked on so much and looking forward to next time! I’m posting the non polished clips! I love being able to look back at my progress over time! ☺️ keep growing. I’m not sure why it’s called the comfort zone when ironically it isn’t that comfortable at all… you only have two options.. you can pursue everything you’ve imagined for yourself or you can play small and ignore your passions.. you can work hard to change your situation or you can be miserable each day and never try. deep down there will always be a voice inside that you can’t ignore. I want to reach the end of my life knowing that I did everything possible to achieve my goals. There was a while where I was shrinking my talents and gifts and interests & just stopped going for things 🙈 & technically that’s no one’s fault but my own! Although I wasn’t aware of it until after some time, so I gave myself grace. After recognizing it, I realized that no one can force you to stay small without your permission. This year I decided that I can just revert.. I can choose to take up space & I can reclaim my spark in life! (& you can too!) even if others judge you, don’t agree, think you’re doing too much, want you to pick one lane and stay in it, want you to stay small because it’s familiar, don’t root for you, or even want you to win but only to a certain extent that feels comfortable. or are simply uncomfortable with your growth.. none of it should stop you! Stop living your life for other people and pursue the things you want! Everyone will always have an opinion. The truth is, I’m not in a brand new era… & I haven’t necessarily changed who I’ve always been.. I’m just reclaiming my energy! When you stop dimming yourself, you finally start feeling alive again. 💜💜💜✨✨✨behind the glitz and glam is just someone who is focused on having fun. I’ve always wanted to enjoy working rather than just make a living. So everything I strive for is in pursuit of that goal.. 🥹 along with being able to help my family and loved ones one day! If we have to work we might as well strive to make it fun! & bc life is expensive, you kind of have to do the most! lol. Feeling really thankful for the journey! It’s hard work behind the scenes but it’s all worth it. If you want something in life, don’t give up. One no is closer to the next yes! ☺️ by @shericaskates
