year 1✏️💕

so grateful to teach at the same elementary school where I made some of my favorite memories. having a mentor like @beauty_mahone25 by my side every step of the way made my first year even more special. to @shelby_thatsme & @koorriiiee, thank you for being my biggest supporters and the best big sisters a girl could ask for 💕

cheers to year 1… halfway done 🥂

My testimony.

My journey to this moment has not been easy. I’ve walked through seasons that tested my faith, my strength, and my purpose. There are parts of my story I no longer choose to relive, but they shaped me into the woman I am becoming — for this, I am grateful.

I’m thankful for the professors who believed in me, the friends who supported me, and a school that gave me space to grow and heal. UNC Charlotte will always be home.

My gratitude runs deep for the school that gave me purpose, and for the chance to educate — to step confidently into a field where I’m often the minority, yet always reminded that I belong. “God is within her, she will not fall.” (Psalm 46:5) taken in Charlotte, North Carolina by @shericemonet
