On Monday, January 6th, The Kay&Kob Foundation carried out a successful outreach project at Potter’s Village Orphanage. This marks the first of many impactful projects we have planned for this year, as we work towards empowering vulnerable communities and creating lasting change.

We provided essential food supplies, toiletries, and other necessities to the children and staff of Potter’s Village. More importantly, we encouraged the children to rise beyond their circumstances, inspiring hope and showing them that they are not alone in their journey.

This project would not have been possible without the support of our incredible partners. A heartfelt thank you to The Noire Space, SHE Rises Foundation, and Sika Entertainment for being a part of this initiative and helping promote it. Your contributions helped make this day a success.

This is only the beginning, and we look forward to many more opportunities to make a difference together. Thank you to everyone who supported this vision. Let’s continue to uplift, empower, and inspire. by @sherisesgh

Help us renovate a library for young learners by donating new or gently used children’s and young adult books. We need novels, biographies, graphic novels, and self-help books. Drop-off locations coming soon!

Empowering Futures: We recently had the pleasure of hosting a workshop at our partner school in Abokobi, focusing on menstrual health and career goals to empower young girls. We donated desks, stationery, sanitary products, and provided a doctor to address their concerns. Our commitment to the school aims to foster long-term growth and break down barriers for these students.

A huge thank you to @softex_gh and @goalsforfloworg for their generous donations!

Our next project is to renovate their library, a cornerstone for fostering a love for reading and learning, providing access to resources, and supporting academic success. If you would like to donate or collaborate, please reach out to us.

Thanks to our dedicated volunteers, teachers, partners and the Abokobi community for their invaluable support.

In addition to our art activities, guests will be able to immerse themselves in a world of empowering artworks with The Art of Giving Group exhibition this Saturday January 6th from 2pm-10:30.

Curated by the SHE Rises team, this collection of diverse artworks from 6 Ghanaian artists transcends individual perspectives to weave a collective narrative of empowerment, community strength, resourcefulness, and boldness. Through various mediums and styles, they articulate stories of empowerment, both personal and communal, demonstrating the importance of unity and collective well-being.
