February recap 💜

1. started back deep conditioning and taking care my hair CONSISTENTLY
2. Fabletics had a sale on sports bras and I was in dire need of some
3. Took my first hot matt Pilates class and I loveeeeeeeee! It was hard but rewarding
4. My first book i finished this month. Skin & bones gave me black history with a mix of focus on black community & love & mental health
5. My second book of the month “ black magic” discussed black spirituality/ supernaturalism/Conjure etc & how it came to be and what influenced it! And its intersectionality with religion! Great book! Don’t let these ppl demonize your spirituality !
6. I finally am out the 300’s
7. Babe decorated our room and it’s real grown and sexy! 😂
8. The best dairy free butter pecan cream I ever had and im addicted!!!
9. Dorian’s new favorite restaurant “La Moon” he loves the fried rice tooooo much
10. Had to spend a week in Palm Springs,CA for work and the wind during that time was crazy af! I thought my hotel balcony door was going to fly off!
11. This coffee chain in Palm Springs was soo good! I forgot the name of the coffee I got
12. During my last work trip I ate here everyday because they have the best burritos and this trip was no difference
13. Every work trip I go on I try to try or learn something new and I visited the “Agua Caliente Cultural Museum” in Palm Springs. Learn about the native ppls culture and beliefs and THEIR land
14. I always visit Rick restaurant before I leave! Very good breakfast and the views are beauty! It was warm enough to site out side this day and the wind was mild
15. I’ve narrowed down to 3 dresses for my bridesmaids

from my studio apartment that all of a sudden was infested with roaches to his 1 bedroom being attacked by gnats 😂 lord we are living in an answered prayer! Looking forward to new blessings in our new home ❤️ shout out to God by @sherkalaaa_

We crossed sticks like our ancestors did when love had to speak louder than the law. A vow without papers, but sealed in spirit. A tradition born from bondage, yet blooming with freedom.

And then came water soft, steady, sacred. The keeper of memory, the cleanser of past and path. It carried us, blessed us, wrapped us in something older than time.
