I thank God for bringing me to Idaho a true blessing in disguise. My journey here has been an uphill battle filled with every possible emotion. I was fearful of being somewhere new, states away from everything I knew and everyone I loved, surrounded by new people. But I knew God wouldn’t place me somewhere He knew I wasn’t going to succeed. He blessed me with brothers & sisters who became family, lessons I needed to learn, love I’ll always carry with me, and trials that sometimes made me wonder how I was ever going to make it through.I truly believe God placed me here in Idaho for a reason: to fill the people around me with love and kindness and to share the same love He has filled me with. These last few weeks have definitely been some of the hardest, as I’ve had to accept moving somewhere new again, leaving behind the bonds I’ve made and the love I’ve shared, and once again stepping into the uncomfortable and unknown. But I know there is purpose in the discomfort. Maybe this next season is meant to teach me more, to remind me to lean on Him, and to bring me closer to Him again because, at the end of the day, He is the most important part of my life. As I begin my next season in Alaska, I will continue to put my trust and faith in Him. I know God is moving in my life, and even in moments of isolation he will get me through it. God is not done with me yet, and I know He has plans for me far greater than I can see right now. I am beyond grateful and give thanks to every single person who was a part of my journey here in Idaho. You all played a part in a chapter of my life that I will never forget , and I’ll carry the memories, lessons, friendships, and love from wherever God leads me next🤍 taken in Mountain Home AFB by @sherlynn_val
