There’s a song that has been playing on repeat in my mind for several mornings. Walking up with the words “thank you” is fine with me. 🙏🏽 It helps me feel the nearness of God. He’s close. He sees me. He’s right where we are. 🎶 Here are some of the lyrics: “Thank You Jesus, for the blood applied
Thank You Jesus, it has washed me white
Thank You Jesus, You have saved my life
Brought me from the darkness into glorious light.” (“Thank You for the Blood”, Charity Gayle). When have you felt the nearness of God? 🙏🏽 by @shermaclarke

I had been heading for the ocean, but it looked so cool and shady that I had to stop and walk among the trees. by @shermaclarke

The joy of art for me is not about being perfect but drawing closer to God through appreciation of what He created. I had no idea when I organized a ladies’-night-in paint night a year ago that I would develop a love of painting. Am I perfect? No. Am I still developing skill? Yes. Just as I am in awe of the beauty of this garden, I am reminded that we are His workmanship/masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10). Beautiful. Unique. #loved by @shermaclarke

I’m still working on my power verse, but I’m getting there. Memorization is not the easiest thing for me. So if I’m going to work at it, I’d rather be memorizing God’s word than anything else. Do you have a favorite verse? 🙏🏽 by @shermaclarke
