I mean…… Building generational wealth is nice too, but I also started my business so I can cosplay and dress up as Lord Farquaad at Medieval Times.

Happy Father’s Day to all the Daddies out there! In 2019 I recorded myself practicing my father’s eulogy and I think we think the best of our loved ones when they pass and reviewing it back today, this is the best way I can express how much my father means to me. I hope I continue to make him proud. Much love. #happyfathersday #griefjourney #memories by @sherriedarling777

Still processing how powerful last week was at the AALC Conference in Orlando, FL ✨

Being in a space filled with passionate leaders, and changemakers reminded me exactly why I do this work. Every session, every conversation, every shared experience poured back into me in a way I didn’t even realize I needed.

It’s easy to get caught up in the day to day and forget the bigger impact but this experience grounded me again. It challenged me, inspired me, and pushed me to think deeper about how I can continue to show up for my community with purpose and intention.

I’m leaving Orlando not just recharged, but re-committed to growth, to equity, and to creating spaces where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered.

Grateful for the experience. Ready for what’s next. 💫

Art has always been for me to show my purest and true form of myself. The past year, I’ve been dealing with health challenges which affected my body. So I started practicing burlesque in my living room to gain back my self confidence. Just when I considered possibly doing my first burlesque show in public; my home away from home @studioplayhouse announced that they were doing a burlesque, and bingo show. Thank you, Sky Daddy for that glorious sign! Directed by @anthonydiambrosio and produced by @tubrujitalinda. Their sweetness and encouragement during auditions made me light up. During this production, I fell in love with this cast and crew(shoutout to Pat, Steve, and my all my ladies backstage)!!! I have definitely made some friends along the way! I want to thank @shopellerebel and @pinuppalmer collab for creating this beautiful black dress!!! I’m was so glad to finally show it off! Also this beautiful collab from @shopellerebel and @missaudreymonroe for my starlet look in red!!!! Thank you most to @veronicaverdigris and @ox._tyler._xo for our late night rehearsals, laughs, and support. 💖 #burlesque #theatre #art #pinup #friends taken in Studio Playhouse by @sherriedarling777
