The Amount of feedback I received from my last post: Gratitude for those that reached out about publishers (options whew) your support means everything to me at the very beginning of something growing in me! I made this post specifically for you guys. Ya believe in me and for that I want to show you guys again this was not just me waking up talking about doing spoken word lol with all that I do I’m sure ppl think it’s all of over the place. Nope I was born to stand out not fit in therefore I’m too big of a soul to be put in ahh box let alone one niche lolMy mentors did advise me to do one thing at a time which I’m listening I got ya. This is my resume post to you guys I want ya to know I’m so serious and won’t let ya down with the resources yall have dropped in my DM over the past few daysI’ve been writing all my life just never displayed as much as I should. I have history writing for my school newspaper to the Daily news. I’ve done spoken word open mics as well. I’ve been hiding for years after… not sure why yet I need to release all of this so I can feel free and lead by example!! This flashback got me reminiscing heavy yet it’s time to stop living in the past and spring forward to the present which is now. So much has transpired going on a week now. My birthday was an eye opener and at the same time “Peaceful” I got to spend it reflecting in solitude!! Been feeling stagnant for some time and I realized I’m not expressing as much as I should. Today I had to choose between yet again another shut down mentally for good or get back to my root work of expression.Turning my pain into power ✍🏽 so I no longer hurt. Gratitude for those that took the time and energy to wish me a happy birthday!!! I love and appreciate you all. Quick rant: before I embrace my new chapter I must allow my “Throat chakra” to speak up. As an 80’s baby many of us was taught to shut up and listen …. I embrace those that took time to call and reach out to me to wish me a happy birthday!! Many of you guys that I should be grateful for called me made a post and plans for me. I adore and appreciate you all. What kind of bothered me for a split second like forreal a legit split second are those that either been in my life for decades years etc and require my loyalty which I give without a doubt. As I’m intune with my feelings bc this year hit different I really felt a bit like a tiny bit of disappointment IM TALKING TO THOSE I SHOWED UP FOR BEEN THERE FOR CELEBRATED ETC IM TALKING BOUT FAMILY THE ONES CLOSEST TO ME AINT EVEN TAKE THE TIME TO CELEBRATE ME….. SHOUT OUT TO THOSE I JUST MET THOSE ON MY SOCIAL MEDIA YOU GUYS SHOWED OUT HELL YOU GUYS ARE THE REASON “No shade” TO WHY I HAD TO SPIN THE BLOCK TO LET THOSE CLOSE TO ME KNOW THAT I AM DISGUSTED AND MOVING FORWARD UNDERSTAND WHERE YOU FALL IN MY LIFE AFTER TODAY!!!!
