We are very excited to share a new passion project that is very close to our hearts (GoFundMe LINK IN BIO) HEART BEAT is an art light installation from Ruwe Bolster that represents the heartbeat of the Earth, built from colorful discarded materials and responsive to music. It is our loving protest against war and pollution, while showing the beauty and potential hidden in things that are often thrown away. Through music, light and storytelling, we want to create moments of connection during exhibitions all over the world starting in September in Europe and remind people of what truly matters. To bring HEART BEAT to life, we have launched a fundraiser. The donations will help us create, exhibit and share the installation with as many people as possible. After the production and exhibition costs have been covered, all remaining funds will be donated to @righttoplaynl , helping children around the world learn, heal and thrive through the power of play. If you believe that art can create awareness, that small acts of love can inspire bigger change and that every child has the right to play… we would love your support. A behind-the-scenes look at our latest interior design project and photoshoot at GIGA Storage’s new office. ✨@giga.storage is helping shape the future of energy by developing large-scale battery storage systems that store renewable energy and release it when it’s needed most. By balancing the electricity grid, reducing congestion, and enabling greater use of wind and solar power, they play a vital role in accelerating the energy transition. We designed a workspace that reflects their innovative vision, creating an environment where collaboration, sustainability, and forward-thinking come together.Every space tells a story, and this one was designed to reflect functionality, innovation, and a modern workplace experience.It was a pleasure bringing this space to life and capturing the finished result. There’s a new hotspot in Amsterdam Zuidoost that we have designed the interior for: @zojazzstage in the iconic monumental building @zandkasteelamsterdam and I’m about to tell you why it matters way more than you think.Spaces have power. Real power. Most venues? They’re just boxes. Walls. Seats. Boring architecture that says “sit down and consume content.” But ZOJAZZ STAGE? It’s different. It breaks the mold completely.@graziellahunselrivero didn’t build just another concert hall. She built a belief system. She said, “I’m going to create a place where the design itself inspires you. Where every corner makes you curious. Where you feel something the moment you walk in.” That’s not real estate. That’s culture.And here’s what gets us fired up: Amsterdam Zuidoost is PACKED with talent. Incredible musicians, artists, storytellers, people with something to say. But they didn’t have their stage. They didn’t have the platform. So what happened? Their voices got quieter. And that’s a massive loss for all of us.ZOJazz Stage changed that.This isn’t about jazz. Well, it is, but it’s not JUST about jazz. It’s about freedom. Improvisation. Taking what you have and creating something beautiful from it. That’s the spirit. Went on an excursion with @charlesandmore to @bulodesign and Bosq Houtbewerking in Belgium 🇧🇪. Learned a lot about wood, saw many beautiful and smart furniture solutions, and had a very enjoyable day. Many thanks to the hosts for the great hospitality! Met @charlesandmore op excursie geweest naar @bulodesign en Bosq houtbewerking in België 🇧🇪. Veel geleerd over hout, veel mooie slimme meubel oplossingen gezien en een hele gezellige dag gehad. Behind the scenes at our latest residential care project for @amstelring, this time on site at vanIJBURG (under construction).Hard hats on, follow us walking through spaces that will soon feel warm, safe and familiar.It’s always special to stand in the middle of concrete, cables and construction dust, but you can already see the future living environment taking shape.Every space, every sightline and every material choice is designed with care.Creating a place where residents won’t just live, but truly feel at home.Curious to see the progress and end result? OLD NEWS is an artlight installation from @ruwebolster_artlightsfurniture that brings old stories back to life. Originally designed to show the history of the multi tenant building “CITYSIDE” in Amsterdam, OLD NEWS combines up-cycled glass pendant lamps with soft pink paper artworks made from the Dutch @financialtimes (@financieeledagblad ). CITYSIDE used to be a paper factory before it was transformed into an office building. That’s why interior architect @sherylleysner designed art lights with re-used old news papers to fill up the void that connects the entrance with the first floor. The transformation of the financial newspapers into art also contains a deeper message for the viewers of these art lights: money is not what makes the world go round, love is.
