She’s In Purpose would like to recognize Alencia Johnson as the National Social Impact Sister of the month!

Alencia is a force in social change and the blueprint for what it means to lead with both strategy and authenticity. She is an award-winning social impact strategist whose work lives at the intersection of culture, impact, and purpose.

We’re honored to highlight a woman making waves, moving culture, and redefining what it means to lead in impact.

Be sure to support her & purchase her book, Flip the Tables! SIP may have a book club on the way.. 🤭

DM us with the next Social Impact Sister you’d like to see highlighted! Whether in your local community or nationally, we want to amplify the work of the women & girls in purpose!

We love a room full of purpose and this one was everything!

Yesterday our founder got to attend #WomenGiveCLT 💜

This event was co-hosted by @sharecharlotte @womensimpactfund @jlcharlotte 💜 Thank you so much for creating this space for like-minded women to come together to network & learn!

At this event our founder got to connect with women who lead with love in service to the Charlotte community and who remind us what it means to be apart of something meaningful.

Here’s what stood out from the panel + conversations with nonprofit and corporate social impact leaders:

💜 Organizations for women & girls receive less than 2% of all donations. This is a call to action!
💜 Community is power. We have to show up!
💜 You already have what you need to make a difference—your story, your talents, your time, your passion!

From our interests, to our careers, and our deep care for service. This event reminded us that those passions aren’t random—they’re part of our purpose.

💜 Happy International Women’s Day💜

Today, we want to honor the bold, brilliant, and unstoppable women in purpose! We want to give flowers to all the women who are reshaping the world—one initiative, one policy, and one act of service at a time both past and present.

She’s in Purpose is committed to uplifting, amplifying, and celebrating the work of women who dedicate their lives to purpose-driven change. Today, we will kick off our newest initiative, the ‘Social Impact Sister Spotlight.’ This initiative will highlight the trailblazers, advocates, and visionaries making a lasting impact in their communities.

💡 Do you know a woman in social impact who deserves recognition? Tag them below and share their story! Let’s celebrate their brilliance together!

✨ Packed with Purpose ✨

• Sharing some #mondaymemories today!

• This was our first event, Packed with Purpose! She’s in Purpose organized a packing party aimed at providing disaster relief for the black girls affected by the floods in the residential halls of Clark Atlanta University. This event not only served to address the immediate needs but also celebrated black girl joy by engaging the community of black women and girls in a fun and meaningful way, centered around service.

• First, we’d like to thank @southernblackgirls for awarding our founder with the Black Girl Joy grant in the year 2023! We are forever grateful for your work & dedication to the Black girls in the South pouring into their communities.

•Secondly, we’d like to thank our founder’s home church in Virginia, @harvestchurchva for allowing us to host our event.

• Lastly, we want to take some time to thank everyone who has supported our mission. We appreciate those who have donated, shared our content & vision with friends and family, and showed up for the organization and the community we serve!

✨ Stay tuned for more to come ✨
