This book completely took me by surprise. It was recommended by @alannagraceauthor, and I typically really enjoy most books she recommends.

Imagine being raised by your beloved grandfather listening to all his stories of Ireland. Heart broken by his death in 2001 you fulfill his last wishes to go back to Ireland and spread his ashes. While on a boat spreading his ashes you are severely injured and wake up in the year 1921.

This story is rooted deep in history and covers real historical events like the Easter Rising and the Irish War of Independence.

This story is magical and educational! I will be buying every book Amy Harmon ever wrote or writes in the future!

I absolutely will not accept criticism of any sort when it comes to any book @sarahdamoff writes.

The Burning Side ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the second book I’ve read by this author. Her ability to bring characters to life is unmatched. I find myself feeling like they are “my family”.

April and Leo find their marriage in trouble and to top of that their house burns down. They move into April’s parent’s house only to find more hardship.

This book shows you the power of family, love, and forgiveness.

I cannot brag about this book enough. I 100% believe you should read this book and any other book @sarahdamoff writes. by @shesmidchapter

📚The Mad Wife 4⭐️’s

I went into this book blindly and was caught off guard how connected I felt to LuLu’s thoughts. While I’m not a 1950’s housewife,and some things have changed obviously, there is a part all of us women as a wives and mothers can relate to in Lulu. We can so easily lose ourselves in the everyday mundane things.

This book also delivered a killer twist 🤯 However the ending was very anticlimactic. The overall message in this book is a powerful one. Do I recommended? Yes.

The easiest 5⭐️’s I have ever given!

This story follows two people carrying the weight of troubled pasts who meet, fall in love, and try to build a life together. But love doesn’t automatically heal old wounds, and the things they’ve tried to leave behind slowly begin to affect their relationship and the family they’re creating.

With alcohol addiction, a hidden pregnancy, painful secrets, and the lasting consequences of difficult choices, this story explores how trauma can shape a family across generations. It’s raw and heartbreaking, but also filled with love, forgiveness, resilience, and hope.

This book completely pulled me in and made me feel so much for these characters. It’s a beautiful, emotional story that I know I’ll be thinking about for a very long time.
