Some trips stay with you long after you leave.

My first visit to Saratoga Springs, my first Belmont weekend, and a few days spent exploring one of the most charming lake towns I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing.

Between the excitement of race day, the beauty of Saratoga, and the people who made the weekend so memorable, it truly felt like a trip full of firsts.

A heartfelt thank you to the amazing @fanduel team for the incredible hospitality and for making this experience so special.

Leaving with wonderful memories, a deeper appreciation for the sport, and a 40% win ratio that I’m admittedly a little proud of. 🐎✨

Fever Dream run of shows with the absolute dream team. 💫

We took Nashville Emerging Artist Night on the road to Black Mountain and Greensboro, NC, played two incredible new venues and made a whole lot of memories.

Huge thank you to this crew for being endlessly talented, wildly adaptable, down for every adventure, and just plain fun humans to do life and music with.

And thank you to @whitehorseblackmtn and @carolinatheatregso for welcoming us with open arms and helping create two of our favorite shows yet.

North Carolina, you were magic. We’ll be back…very soon. 😉

What a [sold out] weekend.

Every year I have the pleasure of taking six artists that represent the sonically diverse landscape that is Nashville to The Barns at Wolf Trap, 20 minutes from my hometown of Alexandria, VA. It’s always a great time. Lots of memories made, collaborations inspired, friendships built, and new fans reached.

This year was special.

Over the past 8 months, I’ve felt my relationship with Nashville becoming more and more strained.

I fell in love with music because of its power to make the world a better place and change lives.
I fell in love with this city because of its ability to nurture that.

It’s been incredibly difficult to maintain my sense of belonging and identity here as someone who genuinely believes that any kind of platform comes with the responsibility of advocacy. I’ve been told that my professional competency can’t coexist with the overwhelming empathy for humanity that I feel.

In my hometown this weekend, with my brother in the wings, and my parents looking down, I found an overwhelming and amount of pride, encouragement and motivation to continue building a legacy in Nashville that champions diversity, empathy, compassion and progress without limitations.
