Early start this cold and frosty morning, but the sun was bursting it’s rays.
Competing in another 5k trail race at Temple Newsam .
Earlier in the week they had sent us the heads-up that it was “unavoidably muddy”. Before the race started we were warned that it was muddy and to just run through it.
Well yes it was muddy and yes you had to run through it as there was no other option.
Anyway I got back in one piece and had a fantastic time.
Blow away by the numbers.
What a great way to spend a Saturday morning.
Wonder what’s next? 🏃🏻‍♀️

Yeah I’m back in the sewing room.

Lockdown sewing.
Over the last few weeks clothes have been flying off the production line. I’m starting with my most recent make a Harmon Tee which is a quick make from The Gambit collection by @laura_sewdifferent . I made a scarf to add to the look. It also helps with lockdown hair as well. The fabric is from my collection.
The trousers are Vogue V1264 which were actually found in “the box of doom”, they only need a zip putting in and hey presto.

Had an exciting afternoon participating in a virtual cookery class @Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons

The dishes were spiced cauliflower soup and pan fried salmon watercress and herb sauce.

Both were delicious.

Wonder what I’ll be doing next week?

Just attended a cook along with @waitroseandpartner and @johnlewis . We were guided through making Caponata. Used courgette instead of aubergine.
Tasted very nice.
