I’m the FIRST Female Muslim, Mixed Race, Autistic, ADHD car journalist in the UK. Sometimes I wonder if God was having a laugh with me when he ticked all of those boxes. 😂 Yet here I am, at Google speaking on a panel because of all those unique gifts. 👉The #IAmRemarkable event in London was an empowering day filled with awesome women + people from under represented groups that work in the automotive industry. 👉We talked about how we can empower ourselves AND each other and shine our light in a world that often prefers it if you don’t… ✅ Here’s some pearls of wisdom from the panel I think we can ALL learn from: Natasha Kizzie: Feel the fear and do it anyway - you’re remarkable. So don’t forget to tell yourself that, daily! @erinbakerauto : Say yes before you’re ready and figure it out on the way! It’s OK to say no too… you and your health come first. Camille Addo: Learn to trust yourself! Follow your instincts and your gut… it’s there for a reason. Sharon Marshall: Getting involved in other industries and volunteering really opens your eyes up to new possibilities, you also appreciate where you’re at more- find the time, it’s worth it! Dyana Najdi: Take care of your health and look after yourself. Self care is important and you’ll do your best work! Me: No one ever becomes poor by giving, so give as much value as you can. It pays dividends. 👉Thank you so much for putting together this wonderful event Natasha Kizzie + Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) it was cathartic, uplifting and I left feeling inspired. More of this please!🙏 #femaleempowerment #womeninspiringwomen #automotive #motivational taken in Google HQ London by @shetalkscars

Come with me to Goodwood Revival… A place where lovers of classic cars, vintage fashion and history come together for a weekend of nostalgia! This is my favourite event of the year and for good reason… Now thanks are due: To Hannah, Katharine & Becky at @goodwoodmotorsportpr - some years ago they introduced me to the magic of Goodwood and Revival. Without them I would’ve never experienced it - they work tirelessly behind the scenes to make the events at Goodwood magical. Thank you for having me. To @dunloptyre_eu @elan.pr - Nick & Tom for the wonderful ride - @jackrobertw also a great travelling partner / track tour guide 🤣 To @annie_broadbent_ & @_jordanparis for being great sports, friends and companions - handy with the camera too! @harrietmedia for the beautiful shots & imagery Outfit details: Dress: bespoke by Rebecca Rhoades at @rrhoen Hat: bespoke by @missbsmillinery Gloves: @dentsgloves *pr Shoes: @aldo_shoes Goodwood revival Vintage style Vintage fashion Classic cars by @shetalkscars

Outfit reveal for Goodwood Revival… The dress was inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s final outfit in Roman Holiday, but Rebecca put her own flair into it… it is beautifully made and lovely to wear. @rrhoen The hat is a Duchess Pillbox hat by @missbsmillinery - a beautiful Jackie O inspired number made bespoke with Wool Bow and top. The gloves are a lace dainty Polkadot from a heritage British glove maker - @dentsgloves The bag is vintage - made in England and from the 1960s. The shoes are Audrey inspired from @aldo_shoes Vintage inspired and lovingly made by talented craftspeople in Britain. What do you think? I felt like a princess!
