How does it feel to belong to a country where you’re constantly aware of both deprivation and privilege at the same time?

The more I travel across my country, the more I find myself loving it and hating it at the same time.

I see breathtaking landscapes and extraordinary beauty, but alongside them I see crumbling infrastructure, poor planning, and neglected resources.

I meet people with immense kindness and generosity, and then I meet others stripped of empathy, curiosity, and basic civic sense.

Every journey leaves me asking the same question: Where do we even begin? And every time, my answer is the same education.

But here we are witnessing the slow erosion of an entire foundation. From the state of government schools and the politics around midday meals to the endless failures surrounding competitive examinations, the education system feels neglected, compromised, and broken.

And why?! Just because of the people in power. Our politicians who made the LARGEST DEMOCRACY of this world merely a joke.

The most fundamental right of every child, ‘THE RIGHT TO QUALITY EDUCATION’ is being diminished in plain sight. No Answers, No accountability !?

I don’t know how to love my country where privilege grows increasingly indifferent while ordinary people keep bleeding for the bare minimum.

Our basics, clean air, water, education, infrastructure, healthcare became luxuries.

And perhaps the hardest part is living every day somewhere between hope and hopelessness, trying not to let either one win.

There was a time when dance felt natural to me.

Then life happened. I stopped moving the way I used to. The body got stiff, confidence faded, and the dream quietly stayed somewhere in the background.

But it never really left.

This is not a perfect freestyle. This is just me starting again.

Maybe awkward. Maybe rusty. Maybe not there yet.

But one day, I’ll look back at this and be proud that I began.
