Hi! I am Shey Clayborn, and I am running to be your Senior Senator!

I am a fourth year transfer student majoring in Sociology with a minor in Political Science. Since coming to UNCA three years ago, I have made it my priority to not only succeed academically but to make the most of my time here.

I have the privilege of working in Campus Life as an Involvement Ambassador for almost a year! In this position I get to help students connect with the registered student organizations and events that make UNCA what it is. I have also been fortunate enough to be on the Chancellor’s List throughout my time here. I am beyond passionate about both my major and minor and the work I hope to do post-grad.
More than anything, I care about people. I care about helping students find their place, find their voice, and figure out what comes next.

Voting opens Tuesday September 8th! Visit the link in @uncavl_sga ‘s bio to vote :) taken in University of North Carolina at Asheville by @sheykiriah
