A few days of renovations In one video created by our very own @the_secret_beekeeper by @shgcgreenkeepers

Me Throwing about some fertiliser today finishing up our renovations to the greens.
That sunrise was incredible, my favourite part of the day for sure.

A double deep scarfy mixed in with a good amount of sand and thrown in some organic susatine 5.2.4 for good measure. Hopefully the rain comes tonight and jobs a gooden🥂 by @shgcgreenkeepers

Bit dry out on the course but as the irrigation keeps the greens in order it was time for a feed and top dressing. Here we have @tye_the_greenkeeper applying a sand dressing to the 6th green. This was a double pass putting about 15 ton over 18 greens following the application of sustain fertiliser. by @shgcgreenkeepers

With @theopen in full force, it’s only right to share this clip of Dave from the Birdie Golf Club Podcast absolutely flushing his long irons on these two tee shots at Seaford Head Golf Course from our recent course vlog!

With the prolonged hot weather we will be implementing a no smoking ban at the golf course. Thank you for your understanding and realising it’s for the safety of everyone and the local area. by @shgcgreenkeepers

I think the secret maybe out. Thank you everyone that has posted and enjoyed our wonderful golf course. The Greenkeeping team work hard to produce a course that can be enjoyed by all. Please keep them coming and sorry if we forgot to add anyone. by @shgcgreenkeepers

Wild flower area taking shape here at the head on the 6th hole. Year two of the programme with the extension taking it the length of the hole. An area of around 5000m2 now planted.
Thanks to @collierturfcareltd for the seed mixes and advise from @chrishumphrey134 and thanks to @acaciarental for the tractor and rotavator.

Here at the Head all wildlife matters. Here we have @tye_the_greenkeeper moving a little snail before a light verticut and cut on the greens, rehoming to the planted wildflower area. Every little helps. Note the little tap of the shell to let it know it's going for a ride.

Lovely day for a light top dressing after the Verti cutting yesterday. Sarral rollers and @sportsmetals brush it front the perfect combo to work it into where it's needed. Not a bad view either. Pill Box, the Sea, a Martello Tower and the circus is in town.

A great service from @topplant_ supplying promptly on hire a 6 Ton Dumper and 13 ton excavator and working perfectly to get us finished sooner then expected. Wash pad excavated, tank installed and pad concreted and finished followed by repair works and re-shaping to the banks behind the practice nets following a land slide collapsing the fences.
Massive shout-out also to the Greenkeeping team @tye_the_greenkeeper @onslowrush @cdward84 Nathan Sutliff, @silambert on the amount of work put in all while keeping up with the golf course demands.
Big thanks to Julian Fuller for the work and skill in the operators seat. Could not be happier with the results completed photos to come once the seeding is done and wash pad commissioned.

A cracking effort from the team this week. Smashing out the renovations in two days, 18 greens, double scarification, double cut, Sustain organic fertiliser application, 15 ton of sand dressing, Sarral roll, Matt in and a drink to settle it all down. All while golf continued. An application of Revolution and seaweed tomorrow to finish off.
Definitely a few beers earned. We can't wait to see the results and benefits of this vital process.
