Everything changed in my business when I stopped blaming the industry… and started improving my standards. For a long time it was easy to say: “The industry is too competitive.” “Clients only care about price.” “No one values quality anymore.” But the truth was - the industry wasn’t the problem. My standards were! The standard of my systems. The standard of my client experience. The standard of how confidently I priced my services. The standard of what I was willing to tolerate in my business. When I raised my standards, everything else rose with it. Better clients. Stronger team culture. Higher revenue. More respect for the brand. The industry didn’t change. I did. Sometimes the biggest shift in business is deciding that the standard you operate at will be higher than the standard around you. And when that happens… you stop competing. You start leading ❤️✨ by @shhairextensions
In 2012, I was a 19-year-old single mum doing hair extensions from my spare room. What started as a way to get by became something so much bigger than I ever imagined 🥹 Today, SH is a salon, a hair extension brand, a global education community, manufacturing tours, and now NISHA 😭🙈 But the part I’m most proud of isn’t what we’ve built. It’s the people behind it. Our team. Our clients. Our students. Our salon owners. Our community. Every person who has trusted us, supported us, followed along, or chosen SH in some way has helped shape this journey. So whether you’ve been here for years or you’ve only just found us, THANK YOU We’re so happy you’re here ❤️ #salon #hairextensionssunshinecoast #wholesalehair #butterflyweft by @shhairextensions
Creating a more educated & transparent industry - one tour at a time 🥰 The difference in standards varies widely in China and that’s why it’s so important to do the ground work, build relationships that are built on trust, and only work with high quality hair. Those cheap clip ins & hair bundles you buy off Temu, Amazon ect, are using non remy hair (floor hair) that have been acid washed, silicone coated and in poor working environments. If you really want to build a brand, you need to focus on sourcing a product that people will want to buy again & again. But in addition to that, making sure the hair is ethically sourced, and the factory takes care of their workers. Seeing every part of the manufacturing process gives a whole new appreciation to the finished product. Every detail, every step, crafted by hand. It’s mind blowing 🤯 This was such an incredible trip & I feel so grateful to be able to have such a positive impact in the industry. Until next time, China 🇨🇳❤️ #hairextensions #hairextensionsalon #hairextensionwholesale #hairextensionspecialist by @shhairextensions
I mean - did I just WINK with both eyes 😂 my brain is tired Nisha is growing FAST and we’re only just getting started! 🥹💜 One thing we promised from day one was that we’d actually LISTEN to the businesses using Nisha, and I think it’s safe to say we’re delivering! We’re currently building over 75% of the feature requests coming through, with some updates going from request to LIVE in as little as 36 hours! 🤯 Here’s just a little of what’s new (and what’s coming 👀): ✨ We’re GLOBAL! Nisha is available in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the US and beyond! ✨ Independent stylists can connect their own Stripe accounts to receive their booking fees directly. ✨ Individual retail tracking — assign product sales to team members for more accurate KPI reporting. ✨ Online storefront — sell retail products, gift cards and prepaid series directly through your website. ✨ Plus SO many more improvements, features and little tweaks requested by YOU! We’re not building Nisha based on what we think salon owners need. We’re building it alongside the people actually running these businesses every single day. So please, KEEP THE FEATURE REQUESTS COMING! We genuinely read them, review them and build as many as we can. And trust me, what we’re working on behind the scenes is even more exciting. 🥹 This is just the beginning! 💜 #nishaappointments #salonsoftware #onlinebooking # by @shhairextensions

You shouldn’t need a business degree to understand your own business. 🤍 When I built Nisha’s reports, one of my biggest priorities was making sure business owners could actually understand what they were looking at, without feeling overwhelmed by numbers, percentages and metrics they’ve never heard of. That’s why we’ve broken everything down into Financials, Bookings and Efficiency, with three different views: Simple, Intermediate and Advanced. Whether you’re just starting to learn your numbers or you’re ready to dive into the finer details, Nisha grows with you. Because you can’t improve what you don’t understand. And that’s exactly what we’re on a mission to change. Helping more business owners become financially literate, make confident decisions and build businesses that are actually profitable. 🫶🏽 Try Nisha free for 14 days. STOP COPYING YOUR COMPETITORS’ PRICING. 👏🏼 Your competitors don’t have the same overheads, wage costs, product costs or income goals as you. So why are you charging the same prices? One of my absolute favourite features inside Nisha is our Income & Targets. We reverse engineer YOUR income goals to calculate exactly what your business needs to earn per hour to be profitable. Then we analyse your individual services, factoring in your costs, time and profitability, so you can see whether your pricing is actually working for you. Because being fully booked means absolutely nothing if you’re not making money. Stop pricing based on what everyone else is charging. Start pricing based on what YOUR business needs to earn. This is exactly why I built Nisha. 🤍 #NishaAppointments #salonbusinesscoach #bookingsystem #salonsoftware by @shhairextensions

Imagine knowing exactly how much product you’re using, wasting AND profiting from every service. 👀 Meet the Nisha Scale Station ⚖️ Built directly into your Nisha platform, our Scale Station takes the guesswork out of your product costs. ✨ Automatically tracks and records product usage ✨ Monitors product wastage ✨ Calculates your product costs ✨ Tracks your service profitability in real time Because knowing what you’re charging is one thing… but knowing what you’re actually making is everything. Less waste. More profit. Smarter business decisions. This is what happens when your booking system does more than just take bookings.
