Introducing: THE MOVEMENT LAB 🧪 Starting October 6th!

Movement influences everything — music, film, fashion, photography, technology, storytelling, and the way we connect with ourselves and others.

I created this space for you to move, listen, experiment, collaborate, create, and get curious — without needing to already be a “dancer” or be “good” at something before you try it.

Some days we’ll choreograph. Some days we’ll research. We’ll explore music, film, photography, fashion, technology, wellness and everything in between.

Come every week or come when something interests you. No auditions. No attendance requirements. No dance experience necessary.

📍 Room 130
🗓️ Tuesdays | 3:45–5:00 PM
🫶 Open to ALL SHHS students

Come when you’re curious. Participate when you’re ready. Create when you’re inspired.

Welcome to The Movement Lab.

Thank you to SHHS Dance alum @shaily.shahh for coming back and sharing your talent with us today! ✨

We loved learning from you, experiencing new movement and music and hearing how dance has continued to shape your journey through life beyond SHHS. So grateful to have our alumni come back and inspire the next generation of SHHS dancers! 🖤💛

Today we worked on our digital dance portfolios that will evolve with us throughout the year.

Every video, assessment, reflection and note will live in their subpages. We are so excited to implement this assignment this year! by @shhsdance
