Meet our 2026 Fall Resident Artists! 🎭

Our next featured Fall Resident Artist is Shiane Lussier! A recent graduate of Lindsey Wilson University with a degree in Theatre and Arts Administration, Shiane co-founded the Mark Twain Storytelling Festival in Columbia, Kentucky, during her senior year. She is also a two-time Ramsey Theatre Company alum, having worked on "The Wizard of Oz" and "The Hunchback of Notre Dame." We are thrilled to welcome Shiane back to SKYPAC and can't wait to have her as part of our Resident Artist Program this season!

Our new Resident Artist Program launches alongside the opening of the Robert P. Ramsey Annex this fall. These talented artists will gain hands-on experience across our organizations, from educational touring productions and BG OnStage to Ramsey Theatre Company and behind the scenes at SKYPAC.

Our Final Fall Resident Artist will be announced soon! by @shi_lashae

4 years.

In 4 years, I acted in 11 plays. I worked on, in some capacity, almost every single play done during that time. I learned to paint, stain, and build set pieces. I learned how to design sound and lights. I talked to so many audience members, welcoming them to the show and taking them to their seats.

In 4 years, I was a member of two different honor societies. I was Vice President of our chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, and a member of Psi Chi. I was President of the Players Club. I was grateful to be offered a position as an Executive Board member for the History Club and an editor for the Alpha Kappa Phi Review in my final semester.

In 4 years, I flew on my first plane. I went to New York City twice, Chicago once, and Washington DC once. I left the country for the first time, exploring both Northern Ireland and the Republic.

In 4 years, I had a lot of heartbreaks. I lost a brother, I struggled with my mental health, I wondered if this was all for nothing. I also made a lot of friends. I found a second home in the theatre program. I was given opportunities I never thought possible. And I’m coming out the other side a stronger, better person.

4 years.

Every single one of them I’m so beyond grateful for. Thank you for everything, Lindsey. I can’t believe it’s only a week from now that I’ll be leaving you. I’ll miss you more than I could’ve ever imagined.

Thank you to @shelbyburton25 for the beautiful graduation photos. And thank you @kimandwesleygrogan for the beautiful dresses. If you’re ever in Central City, check out Kim’s shop Modest Warrior Boutique! by @shi_lashae
