It seems like audiences really like to watch Dennis belt his heart out in the Oregon desert! The three of us had a great time shooting this music video a couple summers ago, since then it’s played in 18 film festivals and won four times! Let’s talk about camping. 🏕️

* Who invented air mattresses? They sound comfortable because you’re literally sleeping on air. Instead: bouncy, squeaky, uncomfortable mess.
* Do we really need to bring half the stuff from our house just to survive two nights outside?
* Why is there so much dirt everywhere?
* Why are the other campsites so close together?
* Do our new neighbors not know people are trying to sleep while they’re partying until 1:30 AM?
* Do you really need to be opening and closing your car doors at 2 AM?
* Why do eggs and bacon taste 1,000% better when you’re camping?
* Why do we complain about all of this and then immediately start talking about the next camping trip?

Some places just feel timeless.

After moving to San Clemente, I wanted to slow things down and capture this town the way it feels, not just the way it looks.

Shot entirely on authentic Super 8 film, this is my love letter to the surf, the coastline, and the everyday moments that make San Clemente so special.

What started as a personal project became a reminder that sometimes the most beautiful stories are happening all around us.
